Lee Je Hoon steals the show!
This show has been at the back of my head for the longest time. I knew I had to watch it when Taxi Driver S2 is out. This review came abit late but better be late than never!!Plot is pretty straightforward and easy to follow. Basically a group of people that acts as vigilante to revenge for people under the name of a taxi company. Each story takes about 2 episodes or so, it's not draggy and all of them are interesting. The show cannot go wrong with Lee Je Hoon like this man is srsly so good whatever role he plays. In this show he also cosplays different character as an undercover work for each task, which was super fun to watch. I am in love with this man since Signal days, he rocked a lot of shows but he truly does the best in this kind of crime, thriller genre kind I feel. Also, do not expect romance as it's minimal to almost nothing. However, the bond between the members are amazing so it's still a good watch.
While there are good takeaways to this show, I do feel that some of their revenge tasks are too easy/conveniently resolved. Although there are thrill and excitement to it but it's temporary and predictable as to what is gonna happen.. which is why I said that it isn't complex to follow the show. Lee Je Hoon also plays an impt part in the success to this show in the role he play.. i couldn't imagine other actors that can do play the role of Kim Do Gi.
Still, I am very excited to finish watching Taxi Driver S2!! and if u haven't started this series, u should give it a go!!

ACTION WITH MYSTRY THRILLER WITHOUT ROMANCE IS NOT EVERYONE'S CUP OF TEA
I first binge watched this drama because of its genre being action thriller . as the ML AND FL has been distingushed with the supporting cast i had expected some romance but FL has not much to do and the supporting FL clearly overpowers the presence of FL .THE ACTING :
ML has done a wonderful job in portaying his character as a person who seeks justice and want's revenge although the idea of catching criminals and putting them in a private prison seems uneasy . He has shown some great action skills and acting ofcourse.
As i already told FL has not much to do here except getting involved in ML's cases and trying to provoke the situation . she has played her fair part only if we ignore the fact that she is the LEAD .There is no background story and character on her own and just dishes everywhere .
As for supporting FL an go eun has done a very good job . she fits her role as a young hacker perfectly and her acting is also up to the mark.
as for the leader jang song chul who is supposed to be the premise of the whole revenge for the poor thing he has played his role up to the mark but feels mysterois somettimes.
As the drama revolves around the incidences happening in a certaain feild it more feels like an episode to complete and then start off to the next one .
so other support characters and here and there .
THE EPISODES :
The episodes 3 and 4 where kim do ki accomplishes the part of being a teacher at school and does his part was the best of all and also felt good.
FOR other parts they were also good and funny .
as the drama is ongoing i would say it's being dragged .
THE ROMANCE :
There is no any romance until now so i don't know if we should expect in the last two episodes .
Although shipping them would be another thing .
As i ship the ML and the SFL
ACTION :
the action sequences are amazing without forgeting the taxi driving and all the fights.IT gets darker and tamed after few episodes so it's all you are looking if u are an action thriller lover . GO FOR IT .
OVERALL :
its a one time watch for me . it doesn't have all the good plots and stuoryline but it does keeps you engaged and give a felling to watch more .
NOT FOR YOU :
If you want romance and intimate schenes.

I really love this series so much! The first impression I got from this drama was that this show was about a vigilante taxi driver out to serve justice to the bad guys as revenge. And then after watching the drama this is like the Korean version of Knight Rider lol. That said, I went to look at the webtoon that was what the drama was based on. Though have to say that the only thing that was similar between the original webtoon and drama was the concept of the revenge taxi service and Rainbow Taxi. Though to be fair, that was fine with me as the webtoon was more violent and gory and had fewer actual taxi battles. I love how the drama incorporates the whole Knight Rider feel to the whole revenge taxi thing. That was cool. And I love the fact that the drama had Prosecutor Kang Hana's character, which didn't exist in the webtoon but adds an even more depth into the story to include the narrative from the side of the law enforcement people.
Loved the ost and the bg music. The Eurobeat tracks really fit in with the show's movie-like atmosphere. And I love how Kim Dogi and Kang Hana's character being written. And I really love the dynamics between Lee Jehoon and Esom in the drama.
I noticed how halfway through the series the writer was changed to a different person though I'm glad that the change in writers didn't feel so noticeable in the drama. For one, I like how Kang Hana's character started becoming more prominent and become as important as Kim Dogi. Because it'd be a shame if her character becomes underused despite Esom being the main female lead.
I really love how the writing not quite romanticising the idea of vigilante activities yet also admitting that the law might not be fully perfect, to which one might have a need for some kind of vigilante 'hero' to fix the flaw in the law. The overall tone was hopeful and healing and I love the journey from the beginning to end. This is one of the webtoon adaptations that I'm glad that it took a different narrative and give us a great story in return.

Totally Re-watchable!
This show is so soo good and while watching it it gave me goosebumps and it's little bit similar as The Uncanny Counter but the story/plot is so much interesting and unique. I like the duality of Lee Je Hoon, I'm fan of his acting now. The way he changes himself into the character dude you nailed it. Sometimes he becomes clumsy when he was in acting mode and that change in his acting shows how hardworking he is. I also like the acting of Pyo Ye Ji i mean I'm really happy that finally she got a role to show herself. Overall I'm truly very glad to watch this drama also people like them are real heroes! Hwaiting!!Thank you!

A must watch
First off the plot is not like one I have seen before, it is such an interesting concept that will have you debating what is really good and what is evil and how blurry the line between them is.I love that it starts off straight away into the action, with no long backstory, instead the backstory is told throughout the first few episodes in flashbacks which breaks everything up nicely. The victims and their stories are very interesting and the revenge is satisfying.
Honestly, if this aired at a different time to Vincenzo it would be at the top of the list, unfortunately, it is shadowed but if anything I believe taxi driver is on the same level.
The plot is great, the acting is great, etc.
My only downside so far is that there isn't much depth into the characters especially the main male lead (although tbh they all kind of share the main stage but you'll get who I mean)
I don't know much about his past and he is very held back but I really like him and I hope they dive deep into his past and personality a bit more in the future episodes.
Don't hesitate to watch this just go now it is a great series I can't wait for more episodes

Keepy you on your tippy toes
To be honest this is one of my favourite kdramas ever. Its such an interesting action kdrama, every episode keeps you intrigiued and on your tippy toes. Cast is amazing as well, great actors! Plots are always well done and so many likeable characters. The thought of criminal X police romance happening is making me lowkey excited too hehe...Very good. I recommend it!! Also the main character in there is sexy as hell........(Lee Jehoon). Yeah just give it a chance, I feel like its one of those shows where you can easily get into!!Was this review helpful to you?

Taxi Rainbow Team undecided....
in one place we have the Taxi Rainbow Team who every one of the squad have experience at first hand what its like to lose a love one in a very violent way. they know how the system does not help the victims and consequently the family of the victims. therefore they have to spend their days knowing they will never get justice. that the system was never there to help the victims but to protect the bad guys. with that they decide to take revenge in the name of those who can't, with their own methods, outside the law, their ways can even be said to be derived from morality;in the other hand we have Prosecutor Kang Ha Na who believes bad guys needs to get punish through law and the law only, any other method will make you as bad as them. she is the shining example of what "justice" is —rightfull, law abiding—. you see, she's the good cop, the one that follows the rules, can't get corrupted and works hards to get the villains in jail. she's different from the others —which can include even her sunbae— because she can see what is "right" and what is "wrong". therefore for her The Taxi Rainbow Team is in the wrong, The Taxi Rainbow Team broke the law so they deserve to be punish as well. in fact this particular 'case' of a Taxi Driver who kidnaps bad guys deserve her full attention. because for her if you don't follow the law —or rather, the system— then you need to be judged.
yet she watches over and over again how the system she so much believes in is unreliable, unable to actually help those who need it and rather benefits those who don't deserve it. but you see for her it's not the system, it's the people who utilizes the system in benefit of the bad guys. even when she's the one who requires the service of The Taxi Rainbow Team she's unwilling to accept that is the system that it doesn't work and has never worked. she even managed to give them a lecture about how wrong their methods are and gets to be the one who helps them to punish "rightfully" the bad guys at the end of the show.
the Taxi Rainbow Team finally decides —with a little bit of help of Prosecutor Kang Ha Na— that bad guys go to jail because apparently the prision reform is "helpful" and therefore they are respecting the law. that their ways have crossed the line so there was no need anymore for the company to continue with that project. that bad guys are to be left to the police because apparently they actually are "useful". and with this new "realization" they part their ways....
....but no longer after, they reopen the The Taxi Rainbow project?
does it means that they realize —once again— that the system truly will never be there for the people? that as long as they live in a capitalistic society the system would be there only to give profit to the powerful and therefore the non privileged are set to suffer? that at least the little support they offer help the victims in a way....?
....yet we find that now Prosecutor Kang Ha Na is part of the team. does it means then even though they will follow with the Taxi Rainbow activities they'll do it according to the law and therefore they are given their hopes on this flawed system?
the fact that Ahn Go Eun decides to become part of the police reinforces the idea that they have decided somehow to believe in the system, making then this just another cop propaganda show and therefore undermining how these cases both in here and real life are wrongly handled, which makes you wander then what's the point of this show?

I'm just going to sum up my review by keeping it short and simple. People who do others wrong with no remorse don't know or understand how it feels until it happens to them. That's what I truly loved about this series. Justice was served in every way one could imagine.
The only thing that I hated about this series is that it came to an end and I seriously doubt a sequel will be in the makings.

This is really a great drama. I wonder if something like this exists out there world. It would be great if victims would get Justice from perpetrators that harm them or a loved one. I get so tired of people escaping Justice for the crimes they commit, especially those who work in government space. I loved martial arts, I love the place where the taxi driver kept his taxi.
Lee Je Hoon who played Kim Do Gi was perfect for this part. Another actor I love. He was so good! This drama also had a strong woman role played by actress Kang Ha Na the character name Esom. The actor Kim Eui Sung who played the owner of the business was great. Thank you to all the other actors/actresses, the team of this drama, the writers, and all of the visuals.

exciting and based on real events
really good movie. enjoyed this and other series. well done. well executed. storyline tight and well constructed. Different from other Korean series.Well executed stunts, special effects.
A series about a traumatized ex soldier who begins to work for a taxi firm by day, by night the firm becomes a vigilante to catch the true criminals that unjustly treat people.
A team of five, taking on the rich and powerful, and occasional lowlife gangster.
Definitly worth looking at.
All subtitled.
I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself and you'll probably want to watch series 2 and eventually series 3 when it comes.
