"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."

Woah, I seriously have to say this but. I can't think of anyone better than JeHoon for the role of DoGi, because he is PERFECT!!
This man pulls off any disguise role here no matter the situation, and he still manages to avenge those who request his services.

Every single element on his team is essential to the missions, and the way they carry their taxi services using retro game machine or even a karaoke bar on their clients is always amusing to watch, however what really makes this drama interesting is how it shows the scum of society that commits such filthy crimes while trying to get away with it. Praise DoGi! He is here to teaching them the value and the power of Justice by his own methods and well most of the time requiring his iron fist knuckles.

The amount of ACTION in this drama is worth the watch, and the most engaging is the way it is filmed like a one shot or in angles that allows us to be a part of the action, almost as if we're him or a character in a videogame and we're kicking those thugs who deserve it.

And let's not forget all the fast and furious scenes where taxi's truly shine bright.

Taxi Deluxe is on a whole other level of awesome, with changing licenses, several mechanical improvements, and even arsenal that can wreck any vehicle that comes in between of those trying to avenge victims of injustice, that can't be helped by the law.

Personally the prossecutor HaNa annoyed most part of the drama, although I can get her way of thinking and morals, sometimes her impulsive actions and non filter words, were out of context for me on how someone who seeks to use justice so much to punish criminals with the law, can be so thoughtless to disregard other's safety just to reach her goals.
The cliché happens when there's a loss. And it's thanks to that unfortunate accident that she gets into her senses hopefully until the end and do something worthy and rational for a change.

DoGi is my favorite along with GoEun (kickass hacker SFL who also drives a motorcycle), the family bond they share as if the are an older brother and younger sister without any blood bonds is trully remarkable, in a certain way they both created a small family with the rest of the team composed by SungChul (their boss and leader), KyungGoo and JinEon (the two mechanics). Each and everyone having a similar story of brutal loss and grief of family members, that connects them in a search for personal vengeance and justice hence why they started this deal in the first place, despite against the law itself.

EVERYTHING so far is awesome here, even with the plot twists of betrayal written by the change of screenwriters in the drama, they still managed to insert enough action and punishments of the traitors to get us around. I just hope the last two episodes won't be further from that reality and that everything will fall in place.

It's clear that this system of revenge although fun to watch and to cheer up too, isn't build to last, they are breaking laws and for the record also commit crimes to fight crime, although we can all agree that DoGi is amazing, he is a broken man whose mother was brutally killed making him the bitter soul he is when it comes to law and order, who failed him and many counterparts of victim's families.
Now that HaNa has opened her eyes, I hope she will be helpful enough to help him out on that.

THANK GOD for the no romance here.
At least 14 episodes seen so far and nothing leading there.
Good I started watching this for the theme, and JeHoon as DoGi.
Glad it's staying that way, at least is one drama that does not focus on romance or let's it ruin and take over the plot.
Here we gladly accept that the plot and characters individuality and their struggles and vengeances are more important.

EDIT: now that I've FINISHED this drama all I have to say is that it had a really satisfying ending :') a rarity for most.

What can we say of having justice served in the most unconventional ways, sure they took revenge by breaking the law and had to dissolve the organization of Rainbow Transport, it was like I said inevitable and bound to happen (or so we thought), but what truly differentiates him from the others, is that they didn't did use crime for personal benefit without considering the victims. They did it to appease them and help them when the Law couldn't extend to them in time. Also they all were willing to yield the punishments for their doings, even if they had a noble purpose behind the cause.

The final mission of revenge, was served cold and perhaps the most bittersweet, since it took so long and took all of them by surprise. But I am glad they could solve it and fix not only one revenge there but more linked to the same man that ruined countless of lives in there.

Seeing everyone take their time and following their careers and own paths showed the development of the characters that made Rainbow Deluxe Taxi from scratch, they were victims seeking for a purpose, and in the end they found in themselves the strenght and the union of a family. GoEun as a cop and driving a bike, amazing how she passed the civil exam. And to point out that I really loved her conection with DoGi, they acted like big brother and younger sister, it was always heartwarming to see them interact. HaNa also showed her own development throughout the drama, when she learned the value of a life, and how to enforce the law does not always imply follwing the rules, sometimes it's about breaking them to catch the bad guys.

To have her join the team and keep the team ready for action when duty calls, it was the cherry on top of the cake. They all have their own jobs, but at the end of the day when the beepers show RAINBOW, they are a team who avenge people and are able to find more criminals and wrongdoings that are turned on a blind eye when it comes to law enforcement.

THE OST!! Oh my god what to say about it other than it's EPIC most likely.
I mean no one can't get over SILENCE by YB in the fighting or most iconic scenes. It's an anthem and DoGi is the main star.
Am preparing myself for next week's FINALE, because following this drama has been too good and the right adrenaline rush to pump in my veins that I am not entirely ready to let it go.
JeHoon really got me engaged in his acting skills, that I want to see more of him and I do hope he gets more roles in the future.
He should win an award just for this one here. It's a role of many genres, and it fit him like a glove.

Seriously, WHAT THE HECK are you all doing, if not seeing this masterpiece???

The best revenge kdrama I have watched until now

Lets start with the good things
1) Everybody would love the story setup as the Revenge company employees are just much better than normal people.(skill wise i.e. nothing much bad happens as the revenge employees are kind of like overpowered)
2)Music, Ost where just hitting the spot, loved the theme music sooo much.
3)Story's inspired by real life cases or crime's.
4)Action was on par with movie quality.
5)Supporting cast( victims and assailants from all the different stories) where 10 /10.

Now the disappointing points
1)The main lead had nothing much acting to do as I felt they where always getting rushed to taking revenge.
2)Kang Ha Na(Esom) this character felt like it was not part of the drama until second half, I feel this drama could have done better without this character.
3)At the end of episodes there was small segment showing connections between all the characters in the story. But the problem was I had forgotten about few of those characters was this a failure of my memory or failure of the drama to make me remember their stories not sure(I watched it when it aired, may not face this problem when binging)
4)Kim Do Gi (Lee Je Hoon) was practically a superman, no military training can make someone that strong. Because of this Taxi Driver became from real life fiction to supernatural fiction vibe. I mean it didn't feel real.

Conclusion
Watch this show it would give you a warm feeling at the end and there is no bullshit about moral value , forgive your enemies etc.. This show is for all those who are sick and tired of watching over the top good characters who forgive everyone.

Watch This, You Won't Regret.

I really enjoyed watching this drama, only took 3 days to finished when I usually need more than a week to finish K-dramas.

Taxi Driver is a really good action K-drama, I like the conflicts and the ideas of this drama, but there are some illogical scenes (plotholes) to make the drama goes on smoothly (no variables, no unpredictable incidents). This drama is pretty straightforward. Still enjoyable even though I can't really feel the tense.

The characters are also likeable. Except Kim Do-Ki being too overpowered, other characters have fair portions. The chemistry between the characters is also good, I lowkey ship some of the characters despite there's no romance at all in this drama.

The best thing about this drama is the music. The OSTs match well with the scenes. The main OST with its rock genre really suits a lot of action scenes.

And the most underrated aspect from this drama is its comedy. The comedy aspect probably contributes most of the illogical scenes and plotholes in this drama, but I really love the jokes they put and laughed pretty often when I watched this.

Action & Speed

This drama was really done, in terms of the action scenes and driving skills.

I Loved the Main Lead in this drama, which was why I probably this watch. I did get the Robert De Niro vibe from this, which was not so bad... Although dark, violent and gritty, it is also ADDICTIVE, COMPELLING and POIGNANT.

The story is basically around revenge seekers who cant get closure from a loved one killed or being bullied or a mishap taking place in either personal or work life, Every single member of team avengers carry their own chilling backstories - crimes committed against their loved ones where the perpetrators never truly received the punishment that they duly deserved.

I have truly enjoyed Lee Je Hoon’s performance here, in what is his best work to date, the team work and the way stand together is also a major plus in the drama, each of the characters have there own painful experience and story to share and of course the fight scenes and driving skills were really done well. Taxi Driver's message is that revenge is never the answer, and neither is locking up criminals and throwing away the key. karma always comes back to get you in the end.

As for the production -- well, a thousand and one kudos to the cast, the writer, the director, and production team of Taxi Drivers for a job beyond well done, but especially to Lee Je Hoon, this drama wouldn't have worked as well as it did without him.

Overall: A really good action drama which is a definite to watch!!

goeun ?

I feel like people misunderstand this drama as a lousy revenge drama but omg it’s so much more, the sad backstory’s, even the topics cover so much throughout s1 and s2, the topic of cults, suicide, bullying, s3xual assault and it even covers the burning sun scandal in season 2, there was a lot of irritating characters like, Choi min who tbh was so annoying, he was such a weirdo and didn’t even apologise to goeun for making his sister commit suicide, and mr.park and mr.choi’s backstory really needs to be talked about more, it was devastating and I really wished that it was mentioned more. goeun was definitely my favourite character and she really stood out to me for several reasons, she was such a underrated character and I liked her way more than the prosicouter lady from s1, her and her sister really needed more screen time and needed more moments together, this is a must watch and it’s also quite funny, if your thinking of watching it please do, it’s amazing and by far my favourite kdrama

Highly Entertaining ACTION drama

I love everything about this drama especially the pacing and the action scenes. I adore Lee Je-hoon for his amazing performance as well as the other actors!

The episodes are all well written and executed. LJH as the taxi driver is perfect. I cannot imagine any other actor portraying Kim Do-Ki. His versatility and depth as an actor is evident in every work that he does. His passion is showing with his every performance. I wish I could meet him in person.

I cannot wait for season 2.

Just so so for me

I watched this because I became a fan of Lee Je Hoon after seeing him in Move to Heaven.

This drama is about taking revenge for the oppressed. The cases the group take in varied from bullying, illegal porn video rings, syndicates etc. It showed a lot about the dark sides of life and what some people have to bear with.

The drama had really great characters like Sung Chul and Prosecutor Kang Ha Na. But, honestly, I couldn't get why they had to have the taxi and the video game angles. It was also kind of lame having that secret hideout in the basement, as well as the so called improvements on the deluxe taxi. It felt like a James Bond wannabe type of operation. But that's just my opinion. Nevertheless, watching how these evil characters get punished was somewhat satisfying.

Overall, while it had flaws, the series proved to be entertaining enough

ANOTHER GREAT SURPRISE

Was not expecting much from this and the title didn’t promise anything interesting. It is all about getting even and righting injustices the system can’t. The ML (while not like most of my Korean crushes who are so handsome) was perfect in his role. Quiet, mysterious, standoffish but also cool, tough and warm hearted. The FL was everything a prosecutor should be and more. Loved it and couldn’t stop watching until wee hours in the morning. Even the music was great and I usually have to mute the music in Korean dramas.

Marvelous acting

I want to commend Jo In on a heartbreaking piece of acting as Kang Maria. She was very believable in the role. I look forward to her appearance at the end of season one. For some reason I am required to submit 500 words What is this high school? I left her some flowers which made money for the site and wrote what I wished to write. Forcing me to add more words is extraneous to my purpose. And at this point I still don’t have 500 words. I understand there will be a season 3 So something to look forward to in a couple of years.

incroyable drama d'action!

Surement pareil.

Jang Sung Chul me semblait louche.
