Includes human experiments in a lab. Both the series give off the same eerie vibes; the fear of what comes next, of the unknown; the struggle against corrupt humans and others.

Bae Doona and Gong Yoo make people laugh by carefully planning strategies, such as matching their mouths even before the start. For a while, he will be frustrated with the more difficult problem of sharing than expected, give off a sloppy charm, and give laughter. As an ace, Bae Doona is expected to solve the problem with amazing reasoning and insight. Attention is focusing on their fantastic chemistry (conformity and breathing).

In Silent Sea, the story, production, directing, casting, and acting (you name it), is excellent. It is an absolutely beautiful story. Both of them talk about space and the adventures in the moon. Both of them discover water in the moon, except the "water" in the silent sea might be a bit different than what you expect.

These two dramas give similar futuristic vibe. The world we know doesn't exist anymore. In BK people lack fresh air and in TSS there is a problem with lack of water. There is a group of daredevils who try to help people to return to normal existance.

Both are Science Fiction dramas and takes place in Futuristic world .

The Silent Sea has a specific mission (Action based, has mystery), however Hoshi Shinichi series has short stories and its drama.

Recommend Hoshi Shinichi no Fushigina Fushigina Tanpen . if you like the other.
Hoshi Shinichi no Fushigina Fushigina Tanpen has mindblowing endings !!

Both dramas are set in space, which is relatively rare for K-dramas. "The Silent Sea" is a sci-fi thriller set on the moon, while "When the Stars Gossip" is a romantic comedy set on a space station.

However, they differ significantly in tone and genre. "The Silent Sea" is a suspenseful, dark sci-fi thriller, while "When the Stars Gossip" is more lighthearted, focusing on romance and comedy within a space setting.

Similarities
-Both dramas are centered around water and the diseases surrounding water. In The Silent Sea some characters become infected with the water that is found on the moon and In Happiness, it isn't the water itself that is the problem but it enhances the thirst for blood once the person is infected.
-Both are military themed dramas. In Happiness, the military is quietly trying to solve the zombie outbreak, and in The Silent Sea the Korean government sends a group of capable soldiers to handle the water crisis in South Korea.
-Both have creepy locations where the characters become trapped in. In Happiness, it is an apartment complex, and in The Silent Sea it is a research base on the moon.
Differences
-The Silent Sea is a sci-fi space thriller where the mystery is mostly what happened to the people inside the research lab, and in Happiness, it is a survival drama where the main characters must somehow survive a zombie outbreak inside an apartment complex.
-The virus is much more fatal in The Silent Sea than Happiness. (surprisingly)
-The Silent Sea has a bitter-sweet ending whereas Happiness has a happy ending.
Both shows will keep you at the end of your seat, highly recommend!!
