Holy smoke. I don’t know where to start.I was craving thrillers/murderer/mystery/crime and I heard about this drama that has an outstanding twist. Which is why I decided to watch it. First of all, the family. I love them! I love love them. Eun HA! She did an amazing job portraying her character as their daughter. She sometimes gives me BABY FEVER😫.
The main couple though, Holy! The way they show their love to eachother and how they express their emotions are impressive. This is probably my first time seeing a lot of emotional scenes. Lots of crying! Their cries are surreal. They really demonstrate their love and how compassion they are for each other.
I just love the couple and the family.
The mystery in general was out of the box. Great THRILLER AND AMAZING TWIST.
i love THE VILLIAN!!! ahh. I'm a big fan of Him since MONEY HEIST. I've been seeing him a lot in dramas and movies and I'm proud of that!
In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this drama. Stunning story! Amazing cast! It's truly Astonishing to watch this movie.
The story itself really demonstrates the mystery of the murderer cast.
I just love it! Never seen the side of JOONGI in this GENRE AND he's KILLIN IT🥹❤️🥹
THE MAIN FEMALE LEAD!!!! I love HER! I'm a BIG FAN NOW! THEY WAY SHE CRIES. Her tears MAKES ME WANT TO CRY WITH HER. I love HER ACTING I LOVE BOTH OF THEM. THIS DRAMA AHHHHHHH!

How do I move On?
Where to begin… This drama absolutely captivated me from the very first moment to the very last. The storytelling was so engaging that I found myself completely immersed in the world of the characters. The romance was depicted with such depth that I was just blown away. I do not know how to move on from this drama...Every interaction between Hyeon Su and Ji Won crackled with an almost palpable electricity. I found myself holding my breath as I observed the intricate dance of their lives unfolding together, like two magnets drawn closer by an invisible force. Hyeon Su's journey to discovering his deep love for Ji Won was just so amazing to watch; every glance and every tender touch spoke volumes about his feelings. Their chemistry was undeniable, creating countless heart-stopping moments that left me breathless and captivated.
As they faced challenges the dedication they showed for each other was beautiful. It flowed seamlessly through their conversations and gestures, weaving a tapestry of connection that was truly mesmerizing. Witnessing their love story unfold felt surreal as if I were peering into a world where love could transform the ordinary into something extraordinary. Every shared laughter and knowing glance was a testament to the depth of their bond, leaving an indelible mark on my heart.
Although I found myself yearning for even more scenes showcasing their relationship, I still felt a sense of fulfillment with how their romance unfolded. The balance of tension and tenderness in their connection left a lasting impression on me, making this drama an unforgettable experience.
Joon Gi's performance as Hui Seong/Hyeon Su was nothing short of extraordinary. At first, I had my doubts about his character, but as the storyline unfolded and deeper layers of his persona were revealed, he quickly captured my heart and became my favorite character. I found myself completely engrossed in the inner turmoil and complexities of his mind, which Joon Gi translated into a captivating portrayal. His ability to convey a spectrum of emotions made it challenging to express just how masterfully he brought Hyeon Su to life.
Equally impressive was Chae Won's interpretation of Ji Won. Her portrayal breathed life into a character that, while not as intricate as Hyeon Su, held her own significance within the narrative. Ji Won is a multifaceted woman caught in a web of conflicting responsibilities; she grapples with her loyalty as a wife, her deep-seated love for Hyeon Su, and her unwavering commitment as a detective devoted to unveiling the truth. Chae Won's nuanced performance captured this internal struggle beautifully, showcasing her incredible range as an actress.
Overall, I am truly blown away by the remarkable chemistry and depth both Joon Gi and Chae Won brought to their roles. Their performances elevated the story to new heights, and I have no criticisms whatsoever regarding their extraordinary acting skills.
The storyline of this series is absolutely breathtaking! The writer’s creativity and skill are evident, and they truly deserve a medal for crafting such an engaging narrative. I was captivated from the very first scene, and I can honestly say that not a single moment felt boring or predictable. Each twist and turn kept me on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating what would happen next.
In addition to the gripping plot, the cinematography was impressive. Each scene was filmed with great attention to detail, showcasing stunning visuals that brought the story to life.

This is trusting between couple ...
I started this drama with no expectations Because I do not usually watch K dramas But when I completed first episode, I know that I've found the gem 💎💎 ...This is one of those dramas where you can't predict what happens next which is both frustrating and exciting at the same time. Flower of Evil gets better and better with each episode. Never once was I bored while watching this, every moment was thrilling. It exceeded my expectations and I loved every second of it!
I really love the way that ML did not even realise how hard he fell for our FL ...
The two main leads are phenomenal. Lee Joongi's acting is incredible, Moon Chaewon too, she performed her character very well and at times I could almost feel what she was feeling, it was that good. This is one of my all time favourite pairings in a drama, their chemistry and development is amazing!!
Osts are at point , whenever it starts i could not stop crying ...
IN SHORT:
It's an amazing humane drama with an incredibly beautiful narrative. The dialogues are so well versed they hit right into the heart! The quiet heartwarming background piano (sometimes violin mixed too) makes the past flashbacks scenes very alluring and majestic. Those first scenes (the flashbacks) are one of my top favorite bits of each episode!

The blooming brilliance of a Flower of Evil
"Flower of Evil" isn't just another K-Drama; it's a masterpiece that stands out amidst a sea of captivating series. From the moment I started watching, I was utterly hooked, drawn into its intricate web of genres seamlessly woven together. This isn't merely a crime thriller; it's a multifaceted exploration of family, love, and the depths of human nature.Every episode of "Flower of Evil" is a rollercoaster ride of addictive suspense and heart-wrenching emotion. I was eagerly anticipating the next twist and turn in the plot. The series is a testament to the art of storytelling, delivering breathtaking moments that leave a lasting impact.
What sets "Flower of Evil" apart is its ability to elicit a wide range of emotions. While some moments are undeniably sad, others are filled with tension and excitement. The characters, from the protagonist to the antagonist, are impeccably crafted and incredibly deep, allowing viewers to both empathize with and despise them in equal measure.
As someone who typically gravitates towards mystery and crime dramas, "Flower of Evil" exceeded my expectations. While it certainly delivers on its promise of suspense and intrigue, it also offers moments of sweet romance and heartfelt emotion. It's a series that truly has something for everyone.
That being said, no masterpiece is without its flaws. While the majority of the series is near-perfect, I couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed by the ending. For me, the second-to-last episode would have served as a more fitting conclusion. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise flawless production.
In conclusion, "Flower of Evil" is a must-watch and easily the best K-Drama I've ever seen. Its captivating storyline, well-developed characters, and emotional depth make it a standout in the genre. Whether you're a fan of mystery, crime, or romance, this series has something to offer. Prepare to be captivated from start to finish.

Korean Thrillers are the Best
If you're a fan of mysteries or American crime shows like Dexter or You, or if you've ever read webtoons like Bastard, this is the show for you! This show combines action, romance, mystery, and comedy perfectly to make it one of my favorite kdrama watches! Personally, I have never seen a drama like this before, from the plotline reminds me of a show that I could see on American television. One of my favorite things about this drama is its unpredictability. I have spent many years at this point watching tv shows and movies, so most things I watch nowadays I can guess what is going to occur next in the plot. This show always had me on the edge of my seat wondering what's going to happen next. I can assure you that from the first episode it is almost impossible to guess what will happen at the end of the show (unless you've seen spoilers). This aspect of the show makes you genuinely always want to know what's happening next and you can't help but to watch the next episode.
Also I enjoy how this show is not really a romance, which was new for me since most kdramas I have watched before this were mostly focused on the romance between the two main characters. Not to say that romance isn't a big aspect of the plot, the leads do have great chemistry and there are swoon-worthy moments but it has more of the grittiness that I'm used to seeing in American tv shows. I think a reason that I sometimes have trouble finishing kdramas is that just having the romance as the main plotline becomes boring by like the 9th/10th episode. For this drama I was not only interested in the relationship between the main couple but also the other plotlines with Baek Hee-Sung's past and Cha Jiwon's career as a detective. I think the show does a great job of building up the romance but what kept me hooked is the mystery and crime with the overlying plotline.
Additionally, I think this drama could easily become too dark, but thankfully it also adds in humor with some of the side characters, specifically the reporter and Cha Jiwon's coworkers. Also, the acting was amazing by all characters, but the best has to be Lee Joongki because his character has an extremely complex personality and over the course of the drama you come to appreciate his character more and more.
Honestly, this drama would have gotten 10 stars for me but the last episode was somewhat of a disappointment. I know korean dramas usually only have one season but I think this drama would have been perfect if it had a season 2, I would love to see more about how the main couple navigates their relationship after the events that occurred in the last few episodes. Also I don't think I got enough closure on the 2nd main couple. However, excluding this episode the other episodes were great and I hope to see more kdramas like this in the future!

Such an emotional thriller
This was the first K-Drama to convince me to stick to this kind of content. I'm not a lover of lighthearted romance, so the first Kdrama titles didn't really resonated with me, but this drama was true love at first sight.I loved with all my heart the protagonists and in particular the father-daughter relationship. Every emotion and even every lack of that was just perfect. Great plot and even better characters.
I loves how every aspect of the characters' trauma is expressed and exploited. Also Do Hyun-soo will always be my favorite character from Lee Joon Gi.

Premise and set up are great, chemistry (early on) is phenomenal. Doesn't quite stick the landing
Other reviews cover the storyline and what you can expect from the script, production values, etc. So I'm just going to give you my overall thoughts. The problem with setting up an addictive, shocking premise in a story is how to stick the landing. When the stakes are so high, viewers tune in to find out (how in the world) everything could possibly work out for these characters in the end. Sometimes, like Flower of Evil, everything builds beautifully until the very end. The problems are solved too easily and with too little ramifications for the main characters, which ultimately feels like a letdown because you realized the stakes were never actually that high. However, this show leading up to the end was so good, I cut the ending some slack.
Lee Joon Gi was phenomenal the whole show, start to finish.
Moon Chae Won was also great, but her performance started to feel a little too wide-eyed and naive toward the end. I needed something more from her, a bigger, more adult reaction. She didn't quite deliver.
The chemistry between the ML and FL was great 90% of the time, but-- again-- toward the end it faltered, and their scenes lacked the earlier crackling electricity. It's almost like, when they got to the heavy stuff, they felt less comfortable acting together.
Overall, I really, really liked it.

The director has woven the story with fine narrative. Till midway, the audience kept on wondering if the hero is the real perpetrator or if someone else is behind the master plan. A subtle yet sweet love tale is hiding perfectly beneath it.
The journey is propounding warm yet suspicious.

So much hope dashed just like that..
It started off as a great show...but then it turned weird to the point that their actions became ridiculously unbelivable. Sometimes people forgot that psychopaths may be crazy but they do not defy logic just because of that. Furthermore, it was bad enough that they portrayed the psychopath as a I-could-never-get-caught-because-the-universe-is-always-working-in-my-favor with lil to no effort but they also had to portray the side characters as people with shockingly forgiving hearts with nonexistent sense of logic. They skipped the fear of the criminal and went straight to turning into accomplices. My eyes had quite a blast rolling at the illogical plot. Was this review helpful to you?

Crime, Suspense, Love, Chill OSTs... All in one Place !
I started this drama because the story seemed interesting and finished it in a couple of days which is a miracle for me. The most important thing is there were almost no "plot conveniences". It was gripping till the last episode. Even if you can guess the murderer, you'll wonder about the main leads' choices and where it will take them. Main leads' chemistry didn't strike me as amazing at first. The more I got to know about Do Hyun Su the more I could understand how Cha Ji Won come to love him. It mainly revolves around them so, don't expect much from side characters. What more I would have loved to see? Baek He Song - Do Min Seok relationship of course. But I gues it would have too much flashbacks then so that's ok.I loved, loved, loved the ending. Writer made an amazing point by letting Cha Ji won respect Hyun Su's decision. Well written, well played and definitely very touching.
And...Isn't that OST great?

actually this is the FIRST time I'm writing a review here!I should admit that I really enjoyed watching this show. the storyline was very catchy and I'm so into thrillers! my last experience of watching mystery k drama was MOUSE:))) and yes that was my favorite and flower of evil kind of reminded me the vibe of mouse actually. and if you like psychological, mystery, crime, thriller and yet romantic drama, this drama is for you:)))))
Some things which I like the most: I liked the plot twists and how they tricked us at first. and how the story wanted to tell that we can not judge people that easily! and how a society can harm innocent people and ruin their lives:(((
I really liked the fact that they portrait a love between a married couple even though JI Won was a little too much for me.
and also Im really satisfied that at the end MOJIN and DO HE SU didn't rush into a relationship, it was mature of them and sweet,
they could describe antisocial person quite well and whenever he felt a huge emotion which gave him a pain in chest was really hurtful.
mostly I do not like kids at the shows ,however their daughter was so sweet and adorable I miss her actually:)))
Things that didn't let me to give this show a 10 overall:
whenever a person gets out of coma, specially after 14 years its not easy at all to talk, walk or even do ordinary stuffs. HI SUNG had the ability of talking since the first second he returned from coma. and he gets back all his abilities in less than two weeks!!! which is so unreal for a man who was not functional for 14 years!! I was really shocked when i saw him driving a car alone. that was so unrealistic and I couldn't accept it while whatching the show.
the other reason was that the concept of serial killing could be done better, I had this sense that it was a good opportunity which Was missed.
and I must say that I do not like sad endings, but the fact that the roles are being shot or killed several times but they will never die is getting a little boring for me😅😅😅 you know a shot in head or a lost heart beat for 8 minutes(!!) is not necessary at all whenever you know the role is gonna survive there is no excitement in it ;))))
at last I must say that this show has become one of my favorites of k dramas:))
