After 7 years together...

Let's be honest, the review I see on here is just not it...

So here we see what couples struggle with after being together so long. They were always in a toxic type of love, but this showed how misunderstandings, lack of communication and trust, and insecurities can get in the way of relationships. I don't know what anyone else expected, but based on the Prequel, I loved this more. It was raw and showed how messy relationships can be, and how others' opinions can dissuade you from being selfish about your happiness. I would have loved it more if the character development was there, but there was none, and that's okay too. We shouldn't change something that's working well for no reason.

How to understand each other in their relationship.

The story was super and acting of main couple was awesome. I loved this series, it tell that how to understand each other in fresh or long relationship, when the misunderstanding occurs and don't forget the time they spent each other.
Actually I loved the scene between type and his boss who criticize his boyfriend tharn and type give him big punch for criticizing tharn.
Their possessiveness also picks. When tharn get a message from girl, type went to get down the girl feelings on tharn. He tells her "HE IS MY MAN" wow it was awesome.
Overall it was a great series and also techno acting super.

still beefing 7 years later

My episode average was an 8.1, so I rounded down because this was mid, so very mid. Nothing really happened. This was light work and easy watching, so I will give them that, but nothing actually happened. They were still doing the same stuff they were doing at the start of their relationship. Nothing special. Okay, I am going to just talk about the couples because I didn't really post anything about this on my close friend's story, because the show sucked lol.

Starting off with Tharn and Type because the show is named after them and they are the first actors that come up on the cast and credits, Nothing special. They are still getting into the same nasty fights they got into when they first got together. No one has any character development whatsoever. They had a few banging sex scenes, so they still have their chemistry, or whatever it is. Tharn was a lot more clingy in this. Like he would pout and sulk when he didn't get his way. I noticed that; that was his character development, I guess. Type was really getting into his wife's era. Tharn was just talking about how he could quit his job and he would take care of him. and Type was like say less bro. He cooks, cleans, does laundry, irons the clothes, basically does everything for Tharn. That was his character development. He sucks at showing his emotions, so he shows his love with chores and stuff like that. So I guess that's sort of cute. And I thought I was done with this stupid show, but nope, I have to watch them get married in a separate episode. My lord, okay, next couple.

Leo and Fiat Their presence in this makes me miss dont say no. It was my first BL drama in my most recent era of boys love dramas. It really got me back into it, and seeing them in this made me miss it so much. Fuck, I forgot how much of a homewrecking little whore Fiat used to be. He got on my fucking nerves with this. Poor Leo, bro. He's always loved him; I remember that, and that really stuck with me. He just watched his crush be with every single man in the world before he even looked at him. I don't remember (probably because I watched Don't Say No on Billi Billi back when it was still available in America, lol) Leo being this aggressive and dominating. I just love it so much. He was very handsy, and most of the time he stepped back from Fiat's love life, but his getting pissed off and yelling at Fiat was, my god, very sexy. I miss them for real for real. They are so fucking cute, and I love them so much. Besides Fiat's little homewrecker era, that was gross.

Next up are Champ and Dr. Khunpol, or Doc or Khunpol in the streets. They were cute, and I liked them. This show was collecting tropes like they were Pokemon with these couples. Doc had liked Champ since freshman year but had to keep his feelings to himself because he didn't want to end their friendship, which was cute. Doc is actually such a cutie; my god, he was adorable. I'm kind of mad at their ending, but whatever. They could have had so much more potential, but that was never reached, sadly. They were still really cute, and Champ's willingness to understand love just for Doc was really cute. Loved them.

And our last actually relevant couple is Phugun and Cirrus, or Cir, in the streets and the sheets. They were my favorite couple, and I still don't know why. I just loved their dynamic so much and fell in love with them instantly. Phugun was the cousin that they never talked about in tharn type or probably did, and I just was not listening at all because I am really bad at that. Phugun was the cousin of the Th family (th because all of the kids names start with th, lol). He was so adorable, my god. so innocent and just wants to love everyone. Their sex scene was good, bro. The way Phugun was talking to Cir was crazy, bro. That scene kind of told me that appearance is a front to get what he wants, and I really respect that. Cir was your average jealous boyfriend, who just kind of stood back and loved his boyfriend in the midst of the chaos that was unfolding next door. They were cute. My favorite couple If I was going to watch back, it would be their sex scene, lol. That was good. The sexuality of the whole thing was just amazing and lovely. I am actually going to go find it right now lol.

Yeah, that's about it. This is skippable because nothing actually happened. It didn't ruin the ship per se; it was just not necessary at all because nothing happened. The creators just tried to milk a really popular ship, and it didn't work. Now I have to watch another episode just to see these bozos get married. After that, I am done with Tharntype for good. I don't know what the goofy ass parent story is, but fuck that. This was a light watch, and it's still the same Tharn and type. Okay bye!

Itā€™s not bad?..it couldā€™ve been better

I donā€™t normally write reviews but thereā€™s a few things I want to say. The show isnā€™t bad but neither is it good, though I hardly remember what happens in most of the episodes even after I just finished watching them. (Imma include stuff from BOTH seasons as everything was a blur and I donā€™t really remember what stuff happened in which season. Also the events of stuff Iā€™ll be talking about arenā€™t in order so keep in mind. imma just say stuff that I first think of)

I liked the obviously flawed characters
Tharn, jealousy possessiveness,
Type, jealousy, possessiveness, impulsive, self centered
Minor/side characters: Techno(nosy),Champ(dense), Typeā€™s father and boss, Tar, Lhong , that dude that was roommates with the one K-pop dude, Fiat, and Leo. (Got lazy writing the reasons lol)

Me rambling :) :
I LOVE TECHNO, quite literally all I can say.
Champ and the doc (Kinda forgot his name) They were honestly so cute together and individually.
Champs desire for food (so real) and the doc helping Type with his boss THANKK YOUUU FOR HELPING MY SANITY, I could not with that boss.
The other couple that was neighbors with the main couple AAAAA they were so cute

The story:

The plot and storyline was lowkey going no where but hey it was a ride.
If you like to watch toxic couples fighting and not doing anything about it this is for you Ig

ā€”- I really just disliked the random sexual assault in the beginning of Tharntype while Type was sleeping, and how Types trauma was shown and then just forgotten?ā€¦ I also disliked how he just suddenly wanted to sleep with Tharn, and at some moments it was too slow paced and fast paced so I donā€™t even know if there was a time skip or what.

Also the random ass kidnapping of Fiat???? LMAO what was that about, also when Tharn OBVIOUSLY saw Fiat be the one to kiss Type and Type pushed him away and when he was talking his response to it is ā€œWell the Type I know never puts his guard downā€???? Like I agree with type when he said something along the lines of why would I wait to cheat seven years later, but at the same time thereā€™s many relationships where even after 20 years people can fall out of love.

The lack of trust in this relationship is insane and while I was reading other peoples reviews I didnt even realize how toxic there relationship truly was (their relationship is similar to my parents (fighting and arguing over stupid shit)šŸ¤” ) so I only picked up on some of the toxic traits without realizing thereā€™s far more.
Lhong pissed me off so much after figuring out what he was doing but honestly thats the only real emotion I felt throughout this entire show
Also why was Lhong arrested when they LITERALLY have evidence of his doing??

Also are they in college or highschool I was never able to tell until Tar was said to be a FRESHMAN IN HIGHSCHOOL????? So I was so confused because I was thinking it was college

Homestly theyre both toxic but type is more toxic in a direct way while tharn is indirectly

The way type knew Tharn is literally GAY and instead of type being mature and leaving the message be (or even checking his phone in general) he confronted her and instead of Tharn getting mad with the lack of trust he thought it was cute???

and the amount of misogynistic comments that were made that also somewhat gave off ā€œhe cant be 100% gayā€ ā€œhe must still like womenā€
Also with types commenting about how he hates gays still but not Tharn like then doesnā€™t that mean you just hate people that just happened to be gay and not the actual gay people themselves? Unlesss he still has prejudice against gay people but itā€™s not as intense

I understood why type may not have wanted to get married, as Tharn said he looks tough on the outside but actually overthinks about what other people might or are saying, type also mentioned he doesnt like being in the center of attention (aka the gossip that was happening in the hospital), it shows his hotheadedness and his tendency to runnaway as well.
But Tharn seemed to get married because he wanted to show people that Tyle is in his possession and is his only, like calm your tits nobody is gonna steal your man lmao also when type said they could easily break up if something happened unlike if they were married shows the lack of commitment. Like itā€™s fine if you care about other people talking about you and boyfriend because both of yā€™all are men.

Honestly it was understandable why Type wanted to breakup with him because of the stress coming from Tharn exes but type calm yourself

Also maybe I have a tolerance for toxic bitches or something but it kinda makes sense when you see something that aligns with your insecurities and negative mindset you kind of blame everything on everyone else and lose hope for anything thats positive especially when youre hotheaded and/or have anger issues and youre with other people. All the logic in your head kinds disappears and you just act solely with emotions and say implusive shit.
Though this does not AT ALL justify acting like immature man children, step away for a moment and actually DEAL with the problem, I cannot comprehend how even after 7 years they cannot sit down and talk like acrual adults. They just forgive and have sex. Like wtf?
Forgiving each other for the same actions that keep on repeating itself instead of putting an end to the problem itself is so infuriating They seen to bottle things up instead of talking it out, which is understandable as there are relatonship problems and individual problems. Its understandable of you dont want to tell your problem to your psrtner because youre sure you can handle it without it affecting anything else. but in Typeā€™s situation, he doesnt know how to maintain his emotions and handle them properly which leads him to have outbursts and throws tantrums. And you know who has to deal with it? Tharn for no reason at all, though, sometimes he does deserve to get yelled at. But Type obviously is not able to handle stress well, Im not saying you always need to have a straight face and a strong front, but this is when communcation comes in. I hate it when people ignore the issue or are like ā€œoh well this is just how I amā€ no shit? But not everyone can endure your bullshit nor is it an excuse to keep living with the problem without trying to fix it because ā€œthats just how you areā€

And thank you for listening to my random compilation that I donā€™t think anyone understands neither do I can Idk what this turned into :D šŸ˜€ šŸ«¶šŸ™ŒšŸ‘

i dropped the original tharntype series, decided to give tharntype 2 7 yrs of love a chance to change my mind on tharntype, sadly, it only made my feelings about tharntype stronger. i guess i shouldnt be surprised, taking into account this is mames series im talking about. but if you dropped tharntype and are thinking about giving this one a chance, just know, there was 0 character development (imo). acting was good, love mewgulf and all the other actors in the series. but the story and scripting was NOT it

Type and his 7 years of drama

If the first season was more about Tharn, this one focused on Type. I was very proud of him, because he learned to temper his anger. He dealt with situations where I might have said "Go to hell!".
His evolution as a character was noticeable, although I can't deny that his little fits of jealousy became funny.
I considered Tharn more of a supporting character. He was also there to watch the action. But the sweet scenes between them were nice. I enjoyed them.
Fiat. This little kid got on my nerves. I detested him for what he wanted to do (I don't have a very good opinion of people who try to break up a relationship), but I was also on his side. I suspected the reason behind the action. I don't excuse his behavior, but I empathized with him and he made me cry. Every fight with Leo hurt.

It's more of what we already saw in season 1, just spicier and dumber.

Given that I've rewatched the whole thing three times, I don't think I can give it a bad score.

I'll keep this brief:

I don't think it's as bad as some people say it is, so if you're only watching the scenes of Tharn and Type, it's okay. But the technical aspects of this show are honestly horrendous - the lighting is super overblown, the audio still messy as hell, the entire production has a strange "sunset"-y orange glow to it, both Mew and Gulf are dressed and styled in a way that makes them look like they're in their 30s. The plot is paper-thin and Mew/Tharn seems almost like a secondary character in his own show.

There is a lot of frustration about this season and I wished the would've waited a little longer to film this instead of pushing it out in a rush.

There were some scenes I hugely enjoyed (Type decking his boss) but in general I wished they would've focused more on Tharn and Type and their relationship which often seemed like it was still in its beginning stages instead of seven years in.
All the other sides couples took so much time away from them and that was honestly such a shame and waste is time.

So in short :

Is this better than season 1: no. Definitely not.

Is there any plot beyond relationship stuff: they try, but no, not really.

Do Tharn & Type learn to communicate better: a little bit but not nearly as much as they need to.

Are their arguments relatable: yeah, somewhat.

Does this season include Type doing something completely out-of-bounds batsh*t insane that would've gotten him into jail IRL? YES (srsly wtf)

Are Tharn & Type ridiculously adorable and sexy in this: 100% YES, even more so than season 1.

Are there still dumb misunderstandings: yeah, a ton.

Did Techno sadly become an annoying dumbass: yes.

Are the side couples interesting: no.

Do they take too much time away from TT: absolutely.

Is Type still a ferocious powerbottom bitch? Yes and we love to see it.

Is Type's relationship with his Dad weird? Given that it's been seven years and his Dad is still an ass to the man he loves? Yes.

Gulf and Mew's acting as gotten a little better, Gulf still does the eyebrow acting every now and then but it's reserved for sassy scenes where it makes sense.

Listen, I can't sit here and tell you this season (or show lbr) is good. It's not. There is no plot, I still have massive problems with the inappropriate music (although the audio engineering is way better than in season 1) and at way too many points I just wanted to slap them both and lock them in a room together for a week so that they can just FINALLY talk it all out.
But I'm still absolutely obsessed with this show and still rewatch it all the time.
So clearly, they did something right.

Itā€™s a show!

Donā€™t watch thisā€¦. This is SO much better than the first season. Last season there was a severe lack in communication and it was pretty toxic so it became annoying to continue watching. This still was kind of annoying to watch because it doesnā€™t feel like seven years of love.. However, this season there was some improvement to communication. It was much less toxic (still was in a lot of scenes but they worked it out in a healthier way this timeā€¦sometimes) and actually really cute to watch (sometimesā€¦ heavy on the sometimes ).

Don't waste your time

Finally watched this and boy am I pissed AF. Let me start with Fiat and Leo. Fiat just got on my nerves through this entire series and Leo omw he was just to stupid running after Fiat. Type I actually taught in this he would change. Boy was I wrong. He constantly picked and looked for a fight with tharn then when he realized he f up everything was am sorry and then we have tharn for the sake of love, kept on accepting hid apologies. We had a disgusting boss who needed a cutass from the starting. This series didn't need a part 2. Couldn't even finished it. Had to go rewatch don't say No because of this rubbish
