I found FB to be more romantic, which is one of the reasons I love Asian Dramas.
Jiro Wang nailed the part!! But perhaps I am biased becuae I liked him in "It started with a kiss." Here I saw a more mature, manly and serious version of him and I totally loved him!
We can clearly see how he slowly develops feeling for Gao Mei Nam.
He is not so childish as Tae Kyung and more jealous! Always a plus for me!
Lee HongKi will always be my Jeremy , but Evan Yo is adorable!
Hwang In Deok was good, but he did not stand out like the other characters or like Jung Yong-hwa did in YAB.
The main actress was so cute! Even though it was obvious she is still new at acting. But overall I found her adorable!
What I also liked was the way they were dressed, because the clothes they wore in YAB, in my humble opinion were over the top.
The music was ok, but the songs did not move me the way the YAB OST did.
All in all, a great drama! I highly recommend it!

Gonna give this 9/10 which is better grade than what I gave to the original (8/10).
Even though it dragged at some points in the middle, I liked how they made it different from original version. At some points especially in the beginning it seemed like an exact copy of the original.
The ending, the "double scene" (you know what I mean haha), them kiss scenes and the acting itself was better than in the original. Except that some characters *cough* Xin Yu and the reporter *cough* were way worse and not as natural or funny like in the original version.
What comes to the acting in general:
- I didn't like how Jiro Wang was missing the "Hwang Tae Kyung" style aka the facial expressions. They were in Japanese version so I was hoping them to be in this one too.
- Su Li Wen was annoying when she was playing Mei Nu playing to be her brother. But when she was playing Mei Nan himself she was kickass. I hope they would've showed more interactions between the twins haha
- As I mentioned above... Hwang In Deok playing Shin Woo / Xin Yu was awkward. A big minus from that. He was worse than Kim Hyun Joong in BOF (Don't kill me. I love KHJ btw)
- Evan Yo as Jeremy was super adorable yet he couldn't reach the level of the original Jeremy played by Lee Hong Ki.
There were no annoying characters in this one. I remember how I hated the mom in Korean version and the biach in Japanese version.
I liked the music in this one of course. I also like how they changed the "Otteokhajeo" to a completely new song. Points from that ~~
But the original one is the best one to me because it's the original and special to me.
Would I rewatch this? No.
Funny, because I can rewatch the original many many times and so far I've rewatched it like 3-4 times.
I guess there is some "magic" in the original one always hahaha XDD
By the way, the Japanese version got 6/10 from me. I can't even remember anything from it...
While I was watching this Taiwanese version I could see the Korean version in my head all the time. Which is why I was always surprised when they added some new things to this version ^^
I think that's all I have to say. Thanks for reading this ~

I also tried to listen to the korean and japanese versions of the song "Promise by ANjell", and still, ANjell's taiwan rocked my world! Jiro Wang's voice fits the song.
Overall, the story is so good. There is no boring episode. The actors were funny and amusing, especially Jeremy. He's so witty and humorous. I am also amused by Jie-ge! Lol. Liu Xin Ning irritated me so much but I guess she was able to help on the last part.
Oh how I wish I could watch them perfom live!!!

They've tweaked the story here and there, though of course all the important scenes and sequences are the same. Sometimes the changes are good, at times a little annoying. I didn't much appreciate all the extra scenes that Xin Yu gets here. But, the reporter character was far less annoying than the original.
Jiro Wang is of course very good, though a slightly less irritable Tae Kyung. But he isn't Jang Guen Suk-only because I'm partial to JGS.
Su Li Wen takes the cake as Gao Mei Nan/Mei Nu. She is as good and almost as cute as Park Shin Hye in playing that stupid yet endearing character.
The only character who seemed to try very hard but didn't quite get there was Jeremy.
The music is almost the same, except for two songs I think. It wasn't anything to write about though.
This drama is definitely a worthy remake of You're Beautiful. The Japanese remake was disappointing for me, so was all the more happy to see this.
This is a good watch, whether you're watching as a remake or as a fresh drama.

Story 9/10- It's the same story, but with minor additions and subtractions.
Characters 8/10- Overall good, but I wish the villain was more evil.
Acting 8.5/10- For majority of the main characters to be played bey first timers they did an excellent job.
Music 7/10- The same as the other two versions. Not my favorite type of pop.
Rewatch Value 8/10- I will definitely watch this again when I'm bored.
Like most people I watched this after seeing the original You're Beautiful(Korean) and Ikemen Desu Ne. I loved both versions. For those who are familiar with the story you can skip ahead until you see $$$. If this is the first version you are contemplating on seeing here is the basic story line. Gao Mei Nu(Su Li Wen) was a nun apprentice who dreamed of going to Rome. She bumps into a pervert who is then chased away by Ma Ke(Chen Wei Min). He begs her to pretend to be her twin brother in order to sign a contract for this popular band called A.N.JELL. Confused she at first refuses, but when she realize it has always been her brother's dream to sing she agrees. What was suppose to be a simple once switch becomes more permanent as her brother Gao Mei Nan is getting surgery done. Alas the heroine is thrown in a house with three attractive guys as she tries her best not to get discovered or worse... sparks.

I loved the story since I watched the first version. I thought it was cute and interesting. One thing I like about this version is they keep it short. Without ruining the story they throw out subplots that weren't really necessary and add in a little of their story. This version is told at a pace that for the first few episodes was a little slow(like the original), but then kept a steady pace(like the Japanese). All in all great job Taiwan.
When I saw these actors beside Jiro Wang I was like, "Who the @#%$ are these people?" I never saw the rest of the band members in any drama which delayed me from watching this. However I eventually gave in to temptation and I must say these guys can act. I love Su Li Wen as Gao Mei Nan. She was funny, adorable, and serious when needed. I felt that for her first time this was a nice role, but not the best. It felt fake when she acted cute at times. I feel that a more serious role would have been better because out of the three heroine lead she handle those serious situations exceptionally well considering the other two have way more experience in the acting field. Jiro Wang was of course amazing. He acted very mean in the beginning, but soften up nicely like the other two. The thing I liked most about Jiro Wang was his jealousy. It was so natural. It makes me wonder if he is the jealous type in real life. Jo Evan is also a newbie actor and this his first role. When I first saw him as Jeremy I liked the fact his hair was brown instead of blonde, it made him look more adorable and realistic. I still wasn't convinced that he would be a good Jeremy because Lee Hong Ji(Korean) is my favorite Jeremy until I saw the dude smile. I smiled back. Jo Evan played an outstanding Jeremy. He was a bully in the beginning, but still sweet towards Gao Mei Nan and when he starts his fantasies I burst into laughter. I feel his reactions was more realistic towards the end, but the Korean Jeremy will always be my favorite. Hwang In Deok acted with Jiro before, but I never saw that drama so this is still my first time seeing him act. I loved him as Xin Yu. I felt as the second lead he wasn't a complete push over like the Korean version. He tried his best to win Gao Mei Nu's heart and the advantage of him knowing two languages came in handy when he voiced his feelings for her without her knowledge. This was a great cast for a good set of characters.
The music is more or less the same as the other versions since they use the same songs, but in Taiwanese. Overall a good drama that should not be ignored because it is a remake. If you are a fan of the first two versions watch it! Stop trying to compare before even watching this version. Also please don't nitpick at little things. You are spoiling the story for you. If this is the first version you want to watch, go for it. Defy society's unwritten rule about seeing or reading the original first. Also any fan of music, comedy, and romance should definitely check this out. You will be surprised how much you like this.
If your favorite is the Korean version: Keep an open mind. You will have some problems with how they do the plot and the Taiwanese version of Yoo He Yi. They'll be minor, but it still may affect your whole experience.
If your favorite is the Japanese version: Keep an open mind. You will definitely have issues with the Taiwanese version of Nana.

Acting/Cast: Perfect! I love the casting of this drama. SLW was a very surprising new comer and she did an amazing job! I was actually very excited for Evan's role as Jeremy, but somehow his hairstyle butchered the cuteness that he has. Evan is really cute with an incredibly adorable smile, if only they did not give him that hideous hairdo. T_T and yes Jiro was wonderful!
Music: I loved the songs, they remade them really nicely. But I will always love the original versions more. Plus singing in korean sounds so much nicer then mandarin.. it melts my heart. <3
Rewatch Value: I can't see myself watching another version of this drama again let alone the same one. But it would be a worthwhile rewatch - was good.
Overall: Out of all the versions, I loved this one the best. For me there was not a dull moment. You're Beautiful comes closely behind because it had such a beautiful cast, but this version just had the better and improved screenplay. Bravo!

Another one would be is that they follow exactly all the things that made the K-version very lovable but added a few more cute & memorable scenes (a lot of new added scenes like the MV filming & etc) that made this version even more enjoyable and unforgettable. I kinda have no expectation watching the drama but I ended up loving it more than the original. This is one of the rare occasions where it is worth to watch both versions as both are very good and entertaining.
For me, the scene they outdid the most would be the MV making scene since that stuff is hilarious! And not to mention the original songs for this remake; 'Half of Me' & 'Can't Stop Loving You' -- this 2 songs simply outshone the songs in the original imo.
The only thing the Taiwanese version lacked would be the role of Jeremy which was played by HongKi in the K-version -- HongKi made Jeremy too iconic that no one can actually fill in the shoes for the character.

The CAST is good too. I definitely like Xin Yu & Mie Nu. She is too cute and innocent. Even it's her first drama, her acting is great. All actors played their part well till now.
The MUSIC of this drama is also good. It's like all the other versions mean definitely good lyric & melody.
P.S: It's a must watch, if you've watched all two versions already.
