Both dramas have their own version of the Cinderella story. In Shining Inheritance the story sympathizes with "Cinderella" where as in Cinderella's sister the story sympathizes with Cinderella's stepsister.

Both dramas revolve around people who:
- Acquired amnesia after an accident.
- Poor but hardworking heroine.
- Love triangles.
- Grandmother and grandson relationship.
- Rich and spoiled grandsons.
- Parents who died / orphaned leads
- Search for missing brothers.
- Loyal servants who gave the story a comical twist.
Differences lie on Shining Inheritance being more on the deep/melodramatic side, while Shopaholic King Louis is soft, sweet & fun.

Both about rich girls who unexpectedly lose everything

The stories are very different, but both feature Lee Seung Ki as a spoiled/selfish rich kid who matures as he falls in love.

-Same gorgeous Han Hyo Joo with same pure-nearly goddess character
-Same cinderella - like story
-Same Bae Soo Bin with the same typecast/role
-These two make huge success in Korea and paving the Han Hyo Joo's way to stardom

Both drama have a strong female character that endure hardships and trahisons before finding true love.

They both have the rich girl turn poor after the death of her father. Both are abandoned and somewhat robbed by the cunning wicked stepmother. In both, the girl is taken in by a family, the main difference is the previous connection and how she got in.

Major difference: shining inheritance is 28 episodes and Ojakgyo-Brothers series is about 58 episodes.

Shining Inheritance is more upbeat and less complicated.

They are similar in premise in that two sisters get seperated after the death of their father -one is taken in by their rich grandfather (instead of a rich stranger) and the other a poor and mean family (her brother is taken in by a friend of the rich stranger). They end somewhat similarly as well.

Plots are similar, the heroine tries to find his twisted sibling. They must contend with the intrigues of his jealous relatives, but despite everything finds true love. Even though Glass Slippers end tragically.

There are many similarities between the shows, ie:
-Grumpy male lead with a heart of gold hidden under protective layers of absolute douchiness
- Rich to poor female lead with a smile that's brighter than the sun
- The better guy overall second lead (at least before the male lead softens)
- and many more pre-2015 kdrama tropes.

In both dramas the leading male's inheritance is threatened by the leading female and they eventually fall in love.

Both female leads are struggling after the death of a dear one (father/grandmother), losing a brother and both are taking care of a person with amnesia. The girl is poor, the guy is rich and spoiled.

Creating Destiny has the same feel as Shining Inheritance though Creating Destiny is a bit more light hearted; also there's a lot of the cast from Shining Inheritance in Creating Destiny! The two main leads also constantly bicker; there's also that 2nd male lead you always feel bad for.

Although these 2 do not have the same plot, it has the same feel to me. Both main leads (ie who the story revolves around for most of the time) are not exactly in the best financial situation, and use work and their good reputation to help themselves gain coworkers and establish trust with their customers. They are both very creative and optimistic, which is why i think the shows have similar vibes. There is more character development with the male main lead in Shining Inheritance, as you see him grow. However, the main female lead in Bachelor's vegetable store can be quite annoying and her character got on my nerves for a majority of the show. As well, Bachelors Vegetable store revolves more around the store while Shining Inheritance includes more family drama.

One thing that really kept me going for Bachelor's Vegetable Shop was all of the pretty boys, now that I can't resist lmaoooo

The main character: a poor girl who was kicked out by a mean mother. She welcomes a grandmother with dementia, she meets her "arrogant" grandson (not so arrogant in MOO) and you know what follows.
In my opinion, the acting is better in Shining Inheritance but being a family drama gives My Only One a good point. Each character has its own plotline (though everything intertwines somehow) instead of one couple solving everything (SI).
Careful, My Only One is pure makjang while SI emphasizes more on business.
