=> Both are historical dramas set in the Japanese colonial period of Korean history. The two main male leads are former friends and they love the same woman. However they became estranged as one became dedicated to the cause of Korea's freedom while the other became loyal to Japan.

While the historical events in both dramas are not super accurate, you can watch both to see a glimpse of Korea's history from the time of the last Joseon king to the time of the Japanese colonial period. It is best to watch Mr. Sunshine (covering last Joseon king's time period) before Song of the Bandits (covering Japanese colonial period).

This one's a little bit different, but it's set in the same vibe. If you likes "song of the bandits," you should definitely give it a shot!

Both are set in a similar time period during the Japanese occupation and have elements of the fight for Korean independence. I also think the shows had a similar vibe. Both have some more serious, emotional arcs, but it’s really well balanced with the comedic elements and exciting actions sequences so it never feels too dark. Both stories manage to stay fun without being callous of the historical context. Both are also just really fun watches with great world building!

Parts of SotB reminded me of CLOY. Particularly the train travel through a relatively undeveloped, and frequently dangerous, land. The vibe of the story in those parts felt very similar to CLOY. Both are interring examples of navigating living under a military state and the difficulties that presents for the leads, as well as the corruption and different forms of lawlessness that kind of system breeds.

This particular series took the supernatural course to divide Series between the two timeliness modern and early 1900s
Here fl and ml both get entangled and motivated in supporting the independence of their own country the premises for this series is worthy of everyone to try its very good series especially one of the few series where I liked the sml also as the comraderie between ml and sml was awesome

Both are action-packed shows set during the Japanese occupation of Korea. Both have an enjoyable romance subplot in the mist of all the fighting and killing.
Both feature badass fighter female leads.

While 'Gyeongsag creature' is more horror themed, 'Song of bandits' has a strong western vibes.
