The music is average nothing spectacular. The two negative characters of the show were absolutely successful in making me hate them from my very core. The supporting cast is not memorable but they weren’t bad either. Basically it’s a show run by the two leads. All in all you can give this one a shot if you don’t mind the usual bubblegum princess-y cliches with good execution and want to see some mesmerising romantic feels created by the leads.

Fabulous Drama
Loved every minute of this beautiful Drama. Both leads were glorious. The best Male- Female chemistry ever.Her character oozed charm and vitality. Her acting was inspiring. The leading Male was stunning.ly beautiful. The acting from everyone was superb. It was a real Fairy Tale replete with wicked witches. A lovely story. The settings were great and for once a leading lady with a lovely wardrobe. I can watch this Drama over and over. so I am sad that it is no longer on Netflix or Viki. Some Dramas never age. This is one.

Overall you're gonna learn from this drama is that don't do something that you'll regret till the end of your life.

Story- It was good but I think it could have been stronger if Lee Seol had officially took on her princess roles earlier. If she had, the romance could have been more center stage and not rushed at the end. Overall, I liked it but I wish there was more attention on the romance than some of the plots in the story as they were dragged on for longer than necessary. The ending of the last episode also has me confused.
Cast/Characters- I loved Park Hae Young!! He was charming and his confessions/interactions with Lee Seol were soo sweet. He was my favorite character for sure <3 Lee Seol was super frail and let everyone walk over her for the majority of the show. I wish she had better character development because she needed a backbone. I don't hate her but she's not my favorite either. Oh Joon and Lee Dan are some of the most pitiful characters I've watched; they were just so evil and bitter lol. Finally, the professor was great and he lightened the show up :)
The actors themselves were great!! I will say that Kim Tae Hee lost/blank/sad stares were all the same and became awkward after a while (Her facial expressions seemed limited).
Music- Nothing special or memorable to me. Some of the music that played during some scenes didn't fit either which was weird.
Rewatch Value- I don't really rewatch shows but if I did this one kept my interest so maybe I wouldn't mind watching it again. I would skip some scenes though haha
Overall, My Princess was entertaining and I think it's worth watching if you want an older drama! Definitely watch if you love Song Seung Heon too :)

heartwarming cinderalla story, korean style
This series was my first introduction to the world of dramas, and what got me hooked. The actors nailed it, and the story is cute and comforting. Very clean and family-friendly.The background music straight-up sounds like something some random kid recorded on their old-school keyboard --- not the greatest.
If you can get past the bootleg music and the melodrama moments, it's a good little series though. I wanted to re-watch it a few times for all the mind-blowing wisdom truth bombs / heartfelt dialogue dropped at times. The scriptwriter had a way of expressing certain concepts really thoughtfully through dialogue.
The relationship between the two leads is what made this for me though; their banter kept things interesting and fun. Campy at moments, but they pulled it off pretty well, in my opinion.

And the chemistry and comedy in this drama is off the charts! It was basically a Korean Princess Diaries. What's not to love? Starting at around episode 12, it gets a little angsty and not enough cute scenes between the main couple to balance it off.
Still I rewatch at least the beginning of the drama every so often to cheer me up. This is one of my favourites!

Good enjoyable show, poor quality towards the end
So I genuinely enjoyed the show and rewatched many scenes. I especially loved the chemistry between the leads which I am not finding of late. It's very natural. I enjoyed watching the couple and it had many cute, humorous moments. This show reminded me of many older kdramas where I loved the chemistry of the romantic leads. Plot wise, concept is not new. It's about a normal person becoming a princess but I liked the way dialogues and interactions between characters were written. Yet, as many other kdramas, towards the last few episodes, the quality of the show degrades. It might have been better to show more growth for the princess instead of what they did. And ending was not done well either which leaves a not so good experience after the drama ends. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the show and liked watching the two leads. Music was ok. Cute at some points
There's so much potential between the two leads — they started off really cute together. But the plot gradually lost steam and I just felt like this drama didn't have a strong plot going for it and I didn't feel like I was waiting to see anything happen.There are also some strong bouts of noble idiocy (expected in a 2011 drama) and very cliche characters with the warm female lead and terrible second lead. But I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't make the male lead a rude jerk so at least that was enjoyable!

Но в целом - мило. Мило из-за исполнителей двух главных ролей: девочка такая светлая и веселая, прямо светится вся.
Ну и Гг - прям ух и ах.
Похуже дело с третьей и четвертой стороной четырехугольника - стервозная баба и страшный мужик
С второстепенными героями тут тоже не очень, хотя есть пару политиков привносящих разнообразие и классический корейский дедок.
