After a 6 year coma, the police officer Yang Si On wakes up with many of her memories lost. But she gained the ability to see ghosts. Realizing that she starts to see them when she touches their stuff in the lost and found center - her new work place - she starts to help them. Soon her co-worker Geon U gets interested in her ability to find corpse that where somewhere buried in the woods and stuff, so she keeps her close. Si On helps many ghosts, until she sees the ghost of Hyeong Jun und slowly finds out more about her own story...

Let's see. I'd describe this drama as some kind of romance, detective-action. But both a lacking a lot. For a romance story, it has too little chemistry and romance parts. For action, it is way too slow. You know everything two episodes before the main character discovers the secret. But while you already know it, they still try to slowly lead you to the "truth". So for an action drama, it's too slow. But it also isn't a drama or detective story. So clearly, it's just anything.

At first, the horror part was showing. I liked how she saw ghosts and the atmosphere they created. But from episode 5 on, they somehow messed up with the story. I felt a bit bored and even thought it kept me watching, there were so many times where I just thought "Oh. My. God. Why?" My biggest minus point is the way Si On acted at the end. I understand that she was a cutie girl with Hyeong Jun, before she had the accident. But after the accident she was calm and cool and I liked that about her. But during the last episode she goes back to her cutie character. Why? Wouldn't that show even better that she was able to move on and forget the accident and everything that happened? So I was kind of disappointed in the main character. And of course the lack of chemistry. I think I would like the drama more if there was less romance. Since they didn't have the chemistry for it, I felt bad whenever they had to kiss and show their emotions for each other...

So with that, I can only give it 3*. Sometimes it was boring, but it was still a good drama to watch. I enjoyed the episodes each week and liked the characters, even if they didn't go well with each other. If you like ghosts, you'll probably also like this. And even if you don't like horror, let me tell you: It's not that bad. The first ~4 episodes were a bit creepy but it is not so bad that you would get nightmares. The ghosts don't look creepy and it's only the atmosphere that makes it a tiny bit a "horror" drama. I hate horror and didn't think this was scary.

If you're looking for a decent mystery with a side of romance, this may be fit to your tastes!

Story
The synopsis of this drama was interesting and somewhat uncommon; a girl who can see ghosts wakes up from her coma teams up with her co-worker to solve problems for the dead; however an underlying mystery that was forgotten resurfaces as they try to find out what really happened 6 years ago.

The first few episodes was a thriller! It had so much potential as it got me hooked onto this drama within a heartbeat; the storyline and plot were really well written overall; however the downside was that this drama felt like it started to get boring and it was dragged out nearing the middle/end.

I a a huge fan of mysteries and the 'frightening ghosts' concept intrigued me and i was thrilled that the first few episodes had responded to my wants; however as the story goes on, it seemed that the concept of ghosts appearing was dying down; until eventually there weren't any more new ghosts appearing. It became disappointing that the villains and ghosts were not evil nor interesting enough which made me quite sad at the plain characters.

Acting
The cast were amazing; as it frustrated me that I wanted to root for the dead boyfriend and the girl as much as the real main love interest. I wanted Cha Gun Woo (Taecyeon) to be with Shi On (So Yi Hyun), however i found that Shi On had a much more amazing chemistry with the dead boyfriend. Although I did find Gun Woo and Shi On incompatible at times, i forgave that as their portrayal of their characters were amazing.

Yang Shi On was a believable character; as someone who had just woken from a coma, her confused and shocked character was believable. Cha Gun Woo was like a little kid; amusing to watch his character interact with everyone else. Lee Hyun Joon (portrayed by Kim Jae Wook) was surprisingly one of the most beloved and pitied character despite being silent and not talking for about 80% of the drama, his situation and actions for Shi On were enough to make me love him all the more!

Music
Can't say much about the music, it wasn't horrible but it wasn't amazing either; but it was pretty decent.

Rewatch Value
I can't say whether i would watch the entire drama once again since there were many parts that i found too slow, however I would definitely rewatch the first few episodes since they were the best!

Conclusion?
However, despite the lack of a 'real' thriller mystery drama i was hoping for, Who Are You is a decent drama that deserves a watch as it would definitely make you hooked and connect with the characters.

Personally, I love this! It's not the average romantic comedy type of drama. The story is easy to understand, the characters are easily likable. The 'ghosts' and/or 'spirits' aren't scary or creepy, which I think is a bit more realistic.. as opposed to The Master's Sun, which is also currently airing, but those ghosts are actually kind of. . . creepy. Just finished episode 6 and can't wait for next week!!

Ok firstly i must say i wasn't bored at all.. i finished it withing two days.. story is soo intresting... i gave it 9 out of 10 i can not give whole 10 stars becoze i compaired it with "lets fight with ghost"... If u want to see scarry horror drama i must say this is not for you..becoz there r no scarry ghosts.. all of ghost look like humans.. I really thought in the end hyun joon regain conscious ☹️. In lets fight with ghost drama girl regain conscious.. so i thought this also will like that.. but in here in the end hyun joon died im little bit dissapinted and i cryed lot too ?? actually i love hyun joon and yang shi on than yang shi on and inspector cha... but itz ok inspector cha also good guy it just that i like hyun joon than him..

As for acting all actors do there best.. overall drama is good

who are you, where can I find it?

I really enjoyed watching this, all the actors were great in their roles, including the ghosts too! the ending was awesome, a lot of times you just can find a good ending to dramas now.
to suggest someone watching this, yes watch it, sure as other dramas have some slow spots. but I really believe you will really enjoy this drama. now I am not able to find it anywhere. I would love to watch it again! the drama holds some of your favorite actors as well, OK was awesome in his role, so was the other girl. again and without spoiler, the ending was awesome, even a tear jerker

Unique blend of suspense , action , romance , emotions and comedy !

I actually enjoyed watching this series , it was an easy watch , with such a unique blend of suspense , action , romance , emotions and comedy ! I could watch it without getting annoyed on any character , that might sound a little unrealistic , but the main thing is having a good time watching a series !

There was nothing very intriguing about this , but the story was beautiful and unique and it unfolds at the right time , throughout the series ! The characters are all very strong and painted very well . The way she falls in love with the ML , while still keeping her dead ex-boyfriend in her memories and trying to move on , was the highlight for me ! All characters were very strong and mature and they know their place !

The only thing I dint like was they were shown too lonely fighting against the higher ups , there was not one person who they can trust except the ghosts ! They could have been easily gotten killed while lying in the hospital bed :D !!

Ok Taecyon is a very natural actor . He has some very unique and crazy expressions sometimes which definitely stands out
Kim Jaewook doesnt actually needs dialogues to show his presence , one can see the listlessness in his eyes and feel it !
For the FL , though the character was very good , I felt that the acting could have been better , she was just too bland at some places !

All over it was a nice watch for me !

Thrilling

This was a great thriller drama with so many mysterious elements like Prosecutor Park Woong Joon's fiance, Yeon Hee, disappearing right before their wedding. Detective Yang Shi On, our FL who has the ability to see ghosts, is shown to be extremely smart even though she spent 6 years in a coma and can't seem to recall any events with Detective Lee Hyung Joon who is later revealed to her boyfriend and also happened to be in a coma but is proclaimed to be dead to the world. Detective Shi On makes a lot of dubious descisions just because ghosts are bothering her like walking to the hill in the middle of the night. She is bold but can get killed easily without plot armors. Detective Cha Gun Woo who happens to be at the right place at the right time always chases after Detective Shi On and ends up saving her but Detective Shi On is always leaving Detective Cha Gun Woo in the dark by not revealing the fact that she can see ghosts (understandable) and how she managed to get in trouble and solved the cases concurrently. Betrayal is also massively emphasized in this drama like how someone like Detective Choi Moo Shik chooses to betray people around him especially detective Detective Cha Gun Woo, Detective Shi On, and Lee Hyung Joon even as if he was being forced by his situations or the superior. Its even get more absurd when Detective Shi On leaves Detective Cha Gun Wo who is in a hospital bed after confessing to him that she needs him to be always with him because she finds out that Detective Lee Hyung Joon is still alive form Detective Cha Gun Woo. I get the fact that since her memories were lost and she spent 6 years in a coma so her memories are still fresh after gaining them back but she didn't have to leave Detective Gun Woo like that who has always been there for her. And with the way the story was flowing, it seems like Detective Shin On would not have ended up with Detective Cha Gun Woo if Detective Lee Hyung Joon didn't decide to pass away to the afterlife. I feel like the writer's purposely killed Detective Lee Hyung Joon as he was not the ML but an obstruction to the ML romance with FL. The writer making those kinds of decisions ruins the plot because why bring the dead to alive [in a coma] when you are going to kill him again? But I did like how the writer chose to correspond the last episode to the very episode which was very interesting.

A good story drama. I enjoyed the plot twist.

So Yi-hyun is very beautiful. She was able to portray well the character that she has. Her acting is great and very moving.

Kim Jae-wook is, as usual, very handsome and appealing. His character didn't say a lot of things, but his acting is great so he was able to express his intentions and emotions even with limited ways.

Ok Taec Yeon is handsome, however, when it comes to his acting, his not yet great in this drama. Some parts were overly acted, and he was not able to clearly show his intentions. But he was really good in BRING IT IN GHOST.

The story is good, but there are some parts that the transition is not good, so it became unclear. In the part where Ok Taec Yeon fell in love with So Yi Hyun, the transition is not good, so I didn't notice that he's falling in love with her, I thought he was annoyed.

This was released last 2013, so to compare it with other dramas that time, this one is one of the worth watching dramas, even until now, it's still worth watching.

*
teac's acting hasn't improved since Cinderella's eounni and i think in that was better ... in a mv with yoon eun hae and nikon he acted better as a detective.

*
yi hyun was wonderful...she deserve to be first lead .

*

i like yi hyun-jae wook couple more than yi hyun-teac...

*

flashback scenes was lovely...

(This is the first time ever writing a public review, so if some of the things i write are low key spoilers, then i apologise, i in no way want to spoil anything or ruin the show for the readers who are thinking of watching the show, i am just trying to write about my thoughts without giving anything away, which is quite difficult.)

The story of this show intrigued me, i love the whole 'Detective sees ghosts\ helps them solve their murders', it's what made me want to watch this show, the mystery the creators gave truly was there, and i wish they continued that, i wish the show was based on that story line, like the show Cold Case x the ghostly twist, it would have been amazing, however it did not go that way.

The main protagonist Detective Shi On (Played by So Yi hyun) ruined the show for me. Her over exaggerated expressions through out the show really put me off, For example - even after many episodes she would still be so surprised to see a ghost, as if she had never seen one before, and that really was displeasing to me, because the expressions she made in certain situations ruined the 'moment' in a way, if over-exaggerated expressions is your thing, by all means, i recommend this show. If not, it'll probably stress you out as much as it did for me.
This is merely a personal preference - but I wish she was a stronger person, both physically and emotionally, she was a very weak woman for a police officer and it made everything seem - for a lack of a better word - messy.

I wish the relationship between Shi On and Hyung Joon (Played by Kim Jae Wook) had their own show, the relationship between the two was so freaking adorable, i wish that couple had their own cute show where it has a happy ending and everything is adorable af. I truly only stayed to watch the flashbacks of the two.

Hyung joon's present character was very important yet very unnecessary, i understand why his character was important in the development of the story, however at the same time, in many scenes his presents was unnecessary, which really ruined some scenes.

I could write 100 paragraphs on how so many "coincidences" happened, from coincidental phone calls to coincidental characters entering scenes at the "right time", it was truly cringe-worthy. Nothing was smooth and casual, everything was just sudden and coincidental.

The ending of the show was the icing on the cake, i wish i could write about what a catastrophe it was but i cannot write spoilers, and that's what i would be doing. All i can say is - it was unnecessary.

(I'm not trying to bash the actors, or the creators of the show, it's just the show had the potential to be something really great and it went in a different direction in my eyes.
I hope no one becomes angry at my words, this was just my experience, if you enjoy/enjoyed this show, i am truly happy for you.)

I loved Masters Sun because of the ghosts/horror so I decided to watch this show since it is similar. Gosh, I can't even finish watching the first episode. I'm so annoyed at the main female lead. She's so dumb and has no skills in her profession!!! Also her acting is not good or attracting. The 2 main male leads are great at acting. So disappointed in this. Dropped this drama.
