Cheong Song Yi from YWCFTS is very similar to the female lead in MND and this is noticeable from the get go. It's almost like one inspired the other. However, there is no Do Min Joon personality in the male lead. He'd like to think that he is a Do Min Joon because his character is motivated by an intrinsic desire to be alone like Do Min Joon but for very different reasons.

However, they are alike in that they both have overtly outgoing females come into the lives of solitude seeking males and just throw their world apart and make them realize what they were missing.

While Circle's genre is more of a mystery/ sci-fi drama. My love from another star is a romance/ historical genre. While the genres and story lines are rather different. The two dramas have the alien aspect relation.

Both are about the relationship of a spoiled well known actress with a man who endures her behaviour and slowly starts to have feelings for her.
Both are humorous.

Okay, these 2 dramas are have completely different plots, but it will give you the same vibe, since I found some similarities between them: time traveling, same kind of male main role's personality (calm, calculate and 'rigid'), same kind of female main role (cheerful, reckless, annoys the male lead a lot!!), the limited time living in each other's world and also the good fighting evil plot.

Reunion between screenwriter Park Ji-eun and Kim Soo-hyun as ML, second romcom featuring both. Queen of Tears is missing fantasy element in My Love from the Star. Rich FL in both.

They are both written by the same writer. In both dramas the female lead is very rich and a bit quirky.

Both dramas are about a love story between an alien planning to return home and a human. In both the alien chooses to risk their life to stay a little longer on earth with the human.

1. MLs are immortals. In Nine-tailed, ML is a gumiho. In YWCFS, ML is an alien.
2. MLs are waiting for his first love (which turned out to be FLs) from Joseon Dynasty.

DCB references and spoofs MLFTS and begins with the FL watching the drama. Both are about the alien ML who comes to earth, falls in love with the human FL, but only has a limited time to stay or he will die.
