The first two episodes totally give the legend of the blue sea vibes. I'm assuming its because the female lead has to adjust being in a different era which was similar to that kdrama.

Kim Boong Do is a scholar who had supported the reinstatement of Queen In Hyun when Jang Hee Bin's schemes resulted in her being deposed and replaced as King Suk Jong's queen consort. He travels 300 years into the future of modern Seoul and meets Choi Hee Jin, a no-name actress who is expecting a career renaissance through her role as Queen In Hyun in a TV drama

They both have similar stories that have connections to the past and future with issues and deaths that need to to be resolved. The time travel is done with the original body in both dramas. They both have symbolism and connections to butterflies and the same feel to it. The same people that were in the past are also encountered with the same faces on both dramas in the future. There is also the theme of longing for someone so much that it trascends time and space. Both take place in Joseon and New Joseon and Both are also based on webtoons.

Both dramas are fantasy romance. Both female lead are cute and childish. The fact is,one female lead is from the past and another female lead is an alien. So they both act like they are new to the modern world and create hilarious moment. Both male lead are CEO and they are good at their work. Both MLs can't help but fall for the FL head over heels. Both ML show a lot sweet jealousy scenes . Both Male lead has a evil step mom and a step brother who is not interested in family business . Oh, how could I forget that the both ML have one kind of illness too . And surprisingly those illness occures because of a past troma related to their biological mother. The fact is, both ML tries to hide their illness. I will say there are also some similarities I found but it would be better not to spoil future viewers. So enjoy.

If you like comedy, fluffy, fantasy romance then both of the series are highly recommend. Both of the series are my favorite.

Both are new. Storyline is light, I would say mediocre. Same pace, character's development.
Not for bindge watching, I prefer to watch such type after deep dramas.

In both, the main female characters time travel to the future. Both dramas feature reincarnation. The main female characters' beloved/husband dies in the past, at the beginning of both dramas. The main male characters have reincarnations in the future. "The Story of Park's Marriage Contract" is a lighter drama, with more comedic moments, than "Thousand Years of Love". The latter also has more violence, love scenes and is more direct.

Kad?n ba? rol oyunculu?u her iki diziye benzerlik katacak eminim. Duyusall?k taraf? kesinlikle her iki dizide kad?n oyuncudayd?. Hit the top dizisinde erkek ba? rol karakter zamanlar aras? geçit yapm??t? ama bu dizide kad?n ba? rol karakter zamanlar aras? geçit yapm??. Her ikisinin yeni zamanda ö?renme ?ekilleri benzerlik te?kil edecektir.

Both dramas are essentially 2020s reimaginings of "old" romcom tropes from 2010s and both dramas execute use of these tropes well.

In both stories male CEO decides to enter a contract relationship with troublemaking female lead just to please his beloved grandfather (and essentially inherit the grandfathers company). The grandfather is in both dramas a goofy guy who knows more than he shows.

Both female leads are hardworking independent girls skilled in their own thing but sometimes helpless in male leads rich world of ritchy ritches.

Both drama have elements of slapstick comedy and animated way of expressing comedy.

The difference is in framing of the story - in TSOPMC, the female lead (joseon lady) time-travels from Joseon era into current time thus not being aware of modern customs; in ABP, the female lead is employee in ml's company and disguises as someone else to contract date the male lead.

Both dramas tackles issue about yeolnyeo/virtuous lady during joseon era. Both female leads lost their husbands at their marriage day and expectation of both ladies to be loyal to their deceased husband

Both are 2023 fantasy romance dramas with female leads from Joseon time traveling to the present and falling in love there.

The female leads in both dramas time travel: in Splash Splash LOVE, the Female Lead time travels to Joseon, whereas in The Story of Park's Marriage Contract, the Female Lead travels from Joseon to present-day Seoul, South Korea. Both dramas have elements of historical and modern blended harmoniously together, without being too draggy and monotonous. The romance is sweet and the fantasy elements also do not disappoint.

Both stories have a similar plot line of past lives being entwined with modern day reincarnations and deal with fate as almost a secondary character. Very similar in vibe as well.

Fantasy romance Marriage contract dramas
MD has reincarnation/past life trope while TSOPMC is time travel to the present trope with the male lead being a reincarnation.

- Both have cold chaebols who fall in love with people born in Joseon (200+ year old demon/Joseon noble lady) and have marriage contracts with them
- Strong female leads
- Cold male leads
- Cohabitation trope

-An mc who's confused in her new life
-A love for choco pie
-A similar relationship dynamic- with a cold and reserved ml and an upbeat fl
-Both mls have a rough past

The biggest difference: 30 but 17 is in a modern setting all throughout the drama!
