not my kind of genre : juvenile humor- watch the awkward insecure girl & laugh
It makes me sad to not like this & i want to support Korean content on Netflix, but this made me want to quit only 10 minutes in. My problem is that this is not my kind of drama. High school is a hard pass for me. The angst, the awkwardness, the whole mentality, the fact that you can't really have a satisfying romance with a satisfying conclusion because; it's high school ! I tried to like this, but it got me cringing at the humor & when the female lead starts to pursue her crush, you know she's going to make a fool of herself & we are supposed to laugh. Super cute slow paced movie
Sometimes there are just shows that catch you by surprise. This was one. I have been consuming a lot of shows from China and Japan these last few months. Utterly fed up of the half hearted efforts coming out of Korea. Too artsy, or too sad or too disappointing. Just want some nice happy fun romance, a show with some spirit.So I really didn’t want to start this one but decided to give it a go. I was hooked within the first 15 min. Even for a movie, this show had enough slow pacing it felt authentic in the relationship building amongst the leads, and though nothing significant happens for a while there is enough to know they are starting to mean something to each other.
The romance is quiet and sweet, and not without a bump or two - but a joyous watch. Have been to Korea many times, but this summer I finally made it to Busan, and I am so glad I did. It didn’t feel as epic as Seoul does, but of the places I did go, there were a few that stood out as special to me. Seeing them in this show was icing on the cake.
Clearly there are several people who could care less about this movie. Its a shame. Its an absolute gem.

Estuvo muy bonita y divertida. Me hubiera gustado que fuera en formato de serie porque realmente le veía mucho más para dar, tenía ganas de más desarrollo del romance. Justo cuando por fin se estaba dando todo, de repente lo cortan y meten una separación forzada.El acto final no fue muy de mi agrado, pero pudo ser peor. Me quedo con lo bueno, que fue básicamente el resto de la película.

- đây là một bộ phim khá đáng yêu, tuy là bộ phim ngắn thui nhưng đối với mình phim này khai thác nội dung tương đối ổn, để đi sâu quá nhiều vào thì chắc chắn không thể nhưng vẫn dễ hiểu và mạch phim khá liền nhau . Chỉ có duy nhất 1 điều mình tiếc, nếu mà phim này là phim dài tập chắc có thể sẽ khai thác và đi sâu vào quá khứ, cuộc sống của nam 9 hơn, riêng phần đó mình thấy chưa đủ, phim khai thác về cuộc sống nam 9 nó có nhưng khá ít, chưa được 1/4 phim nên hơi tiếc phần đó. Còn lại đối với mình một bộ phim movie như này là quá đủ rùi. Thật sự nó thanh xuân vườn trường đáng yêu mà nó hài hài có những khúc ngơ ngơ, ngại ngùng chài ơi cuti. Thích cả nhân vật nam9 lẫn nu9 luôn, Nam9 không nói nhiều mà chỉ thể hiện quan tâm nữ 9 qua hành động qua từng chi tiết nhỏ, còn với nữ 9 đem lại cho mình cảm giác lạc quan vô cùng, vô tư, đáng yêu cực, coi xong mình trở nên tích cực hơn luôn á. Back to the Basic of Korean Romance but... nothing else.
This movie starts from your stereotypical high schooler, someone who has a crush on a classmate but needs to improve herself to ask them out. The most basic cliche but honestly, nothing went wrong in the displayal, was a cute plot of a new student coming in and trying to help out the girl to ask the guy out. The biggest praise I do have for this is for the female lead to have realized the importance of the friend and her actual feelings towards him before she went through with her scheme, so we didn't have to go through the trouble and embarassement of the second lead pretending to be the first lead. I still don't understand the need for the ending plot, for a movie, no need to have a problem that solves without any explaination.Overall, a pretty standard high school romance novel, not as good as other ones, but nothing terrible.

O filme todo é bem leve e gostoso de ver, pra relaxar, tirando o tema de abuso que a mãe dele sofre, achei que pra um filme de 2h poderia ter falado mais sobre isso, não sei, ou ter sido algo menos chocanteE sinceramente odeio quando a Coreia faz isso da prota com o cabelo cacheado e o dela era pior porque achava que isso impedia alguém de gostar dela, no fim ainda bem que ela estava com seu cabelo lindíssimo e natural
Achei o romance fofo e o filme legal
Mas o gong yoo aparecendo foi um surpresa pra mim, amo tanto ele e que saudadeeeeee

Cliché, pero del bueno
“Desenredada de amor” me hizo reír, llorar y volver a enamorarme.🥹❤️🩹🫂 Aunque es algo cliché y predecible, logra emocionar de una forma honesta y profunda🙂↕️🙂↕️. La ambientación noventera se siente auténtica, nada forzada, y la aparición especial fue un gran plus. Me recordó lo que es sentir mariposas como una adolescente enamorada🥰🥹🫰🏾 Una película que toca el corazón y se queda contigo. Love Untangled: 9/17/2025
I enjoy romance movies, however the usual downside is they aren’t done well. By this I mean when things such as the romance fall flat or the storyline feels rushed, usually one of theses things takes place. However in this movie they did not, though I do kinda wish the story was longer the pacing was really well. I also really liked the romance, it developed naturally and felt fitting. I also love how the ML loved the real her and not the girls she was trying to become, it was something really refreshing. The only thing I didn’t like was the forced breakup arc, it felt dumb but at least it was easily resolved. O início do filme foi muito gostoso de assistir. Logo de cara, a obra me prendeu, não apenas por abordar um tema com o qual me identifico, mas também por apresentar uma história envolvente, que desperta curiosidade em conhecer mais sobre Park Se Ri, a protagonista, e os demais personagens que já cativam desde as primeiras cenas. A narrativa conquista rapidamente, com personagens bem desenvolvidos e personalidades marcantes. A amizade de Park Se Ri com seus colegas e outros alunos é encantadora, trazendo aquele clichê escolar aconchegante, que dá ao filme um grande potencial para se tornar um verdadeiro “conforto”.A personagem Park Se Ri é muito bem desenvolvida ao longo do filme. A evolução dela fica clara, inclusive em detalhes como o cabelo, que simboliza também sua autoestima. Essa construção da autoestima me impactou bastante e me fez refletir sobre como não precisamos mudar quem somos para sermos amados — as pessoas certas vão gostar de nós do jeito que somos. Os amigos de Park Se-ri — as três amigas e o amigo próximo — também são personagens muito cativantes. Eles trazem leveza e diferença para a trama, e é lindo acompanhar a amizade deles, sempre apoiando e ajudando a protagonista. A direção e o roteiro são bem definidos. As duas horas passam sem que a gente perceba. A cinematografia, ambientada nos anos 90, é belíssima, e eu adorei essa estética nostálgica. As OSTs, por outro lado, não me agradaram tanto; não achei marcantes e, em alguns momentos, nem reparei nelas.
No geral, não tenho muitas críticas sobre o filme. Ele é um romance típico e clichê, mas que ainda assim fascina, faz refletir e aborda temas importantes, principalmente relacionados à autoestima — algo muito relevante nos dias de hoje. É interessante como o filme trata essa questão com seriedade, mas também adiciona um tom leve e engraçado. Ainda assim, gostaria que o final tivesse sido mais explícito, pois deixou algumas pontas soltas, especialmente em relação à família de Yun Seok, o que teria dado um fechamento mais completo à trama. Mesmo assim, isso não chega a atrapalhar, já que os pontos positivos se sobressaem. A cinematografia é belíssima, os atores têm bastante química e entregam atuações envolventes. No fim, é aquele clichê gostoso de assistir, perfeito para momentos em que queremos algo leve e aconchegante.
No fim, recomendo Love Untangled para os dramalovers que apreciam um bom clichê romântico, uma comédia leve e divertida, e que se identifiquem com o tema do cabelo e da busca por autoestima. Ainda assim, mesmo quem não se relaciona diretamente com essa questão vai aproveitar a história. Como muitos dizem, Love Untangled é a cura para o trauma que foi 20th Century Girl. É um filme aconchegante, envolvente e que transmite conforto, daqueles que abraçam o espectador. Vale muito a pena assistir.

Portrayed the teenage love perfectly. Easy watch
Every so often you need a show that doesn't have angst, difficult characters, and it isn't long and drawn out. This cute little movie was just the ticket for me. All of the characters were very likeable. I also like the idea of a guy quietly liking a girl, without demanding anything in return. This was such a cute story about high school romance! I loved all the characters from the main three to the rest of the friend group! I'm not going to lie I was a little sad when Cha Woo-Min's character ended up being the second love interest instead of the main one. I thought him and Shin Eun-Soo had great chemistry together. I personally thought they had more chemistry than the main two together. I was still really happy though with the main two ending up together because they were really sweet. I also didn't like how Se Ri made it seem like Hyeon didn't like her curly hair and weirdness and we saw that he did. Other than that, I really enjoyed it!
