A warm - hearted coming of age movie

My rating: 10/10

This was such a beautiful, well-told story. Heartwarming and touching from start to finish. Park Se-ri and Han Yun-seok were great together, and the build-up of their romance felt very believable—slow, natural, and full of those awkward, sweet teen moments that make you smile. It's a perfect feel-good coming-of-age romance that captures the innocence and excitement of first love. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys lighthearted, uplifting stories with genuine emotional depth. I would watch it again in a heartbeat; it was that good.

What a great guy Han Yun-seok turned out to be! Even as he started developing real feelings for Park Se-ri, he still helped her in her quest to win over Kim Hyeon. He loved her enough to want her happiness, even if it meant with someone else—and you could see how much it hurt him deep down. Park Se-ri was so much fun and full of sunshine; that's exactly why all her friends adored her, and she pulled Han Yun-seok right into her little spot of light when he needed it most. But she needed him too—because, as he said, he loved her however she looked, curls and all. And that guy she crushed on so hard, Kim Hyeon? I think if Park Se-ri had still had those strong feelings for him by the end, he would have dated her. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy too. Sometimes it is refreshing when there are no super villains and no-one gets their hearts crushed. That is true of this one and it keeps it very light and refreshing.

Que filme conforto, eu simplesmente amei!

A protagonista é um pouco lesada, mas de um jeito engraçado que conquista. Esse filme mostrou muito bem a diferença entre a ilusão de uma paixão passageira e um amor verdadeiro — aquele em que você não precisa mudar sua aparência para ser aceito.

O protagonista é tão fofo e um verdadeiro querido 🤏🤏🤏, e juntos eles formaram um casal lindinho demais. O grupo de amigos também foi um ponto super positivo, trouxe ainda mais leveza para a história. Só senti falta de explorarem melhor o que aconteceu com a mãe dele.

Mesmo assim, sem dúvidas, foi o melhor filme coreano que já assisti (mesmo não tendo visto muitos). Um filme muito bom, super confortável e cheio de carinho.

bom pra ver um romance fofo sem muita expectativa

de forma geral achei fofo, tenho cabelo ondulado e fui assistir pronta pra criticar, mas acho q o filme foi ok, não achei que foram longe ou exageraram (como ja vi fazerem antes) e ainda termina com ela aceitando esse lado oque é bem fofo.
particularmente gostei mais do outro interesse romântico dela mas o principal não me desagrada. meu problema com o filme foi uma falta de foco na historia da protagonista que ficou bem jogada, no começo ela nao tem interesse por nada alem do garoto e no fim puxam algo pra ela.
o maior problema é o terceiro ato que correu pra contar tudo que queriam em muito pouco tempo, podiam facilmente cortar uns 20 min da primeira hora de filme para desenvolver melhor a conclusão de ambos os protagonistas que acaba acontecendo fora de tela, oque é uma pena porque se o filme focasse mais nessa parte da historia tinha muito potencial

Being loved when you don't feel like you belong

I started watching this movie because I had nothing to watch. I went in expecting it to be bad or mediocre... For some it was just that. But to me, it was more.

Possibly because I can resonate with Se-Ri or just maybe because it was good... Se-Ri goes through the journey of straightening her hair to 1. fit in and 2. fit the type of style her crush likes. Along the way she meets Yun-Seok, who initially seemed like he didn't want to associate with anyone in Busan.

Gradually, Se-Ri subconsciously realizes that she doesn't need to do anything to her appearance because someone loves her as is. Hell, everyone loves her as is.

As someone who grew up with curly hair myself, this hit home a bit. Se-Ri went through what many of us curly girls go through when wanting to fit in. She luckily met someone who loves her for who she is no matter what she looks like.

This movie isn't tropey, or typical... it has a deeper meaning: There's no reason to change yourself just because you feel like you don't belong, someone will love you no matter what, just be authentically you.

ESSE CASAL ?

Amei o filme, desde que vi o Yun seok achei ele fofinho, o casal teve bem aquela vibe de "she was the sun he was the moon" que é o melhor tipo pra mim. Mas o final apesar de deixar o coração quentinho, deixa também pontas soltas, como a situação da família dele, me pergunto se a mãe dele ficou bem em relação ao otario do pai dele. A protagonista é bem doidinha e divertida e eu amei a parte de quando ela vai se declarar pro popular e percebe que não é ele que ela ama, e foi bom o fato de não ter ceninha de popular com ego se desinchado por não ganhar o coração mais de uma admiradora. Mas sobre o casal, sério, deu vontade de por eles num potinho 🤏🏻 o 1 beijo deles caraaa que fofura, bem adolescente, e fico feliz de pelo menos no final eles terem ficado junto, não como em Garota do século 20....

Hair Untangled

This movie was actually pretty good. I watched it with my dad, and he's the one who put it on and made me watch it with him. The cast was great, i think the directors did an amazing job with picking each person to play their part in whatever role. It's crazy seeing the ML get better and better roles. I get what the script was trying to do with thinking curly hair in a place where everyone has straight hair can make you feel ugly, but idk how to feel about it. I like how she left her hair alone after she permed it. I'm struggling a little to remember why I rated it a 8/10 at first, but i think the movie was good not great. It was just a goofy movie, maybe not as deep as others. Overall, it was good.

I've seen this plot way too many times

Honestly, I was loving the movie until the ML confessed, but then jokingly, I remembered movies I'd seen before, where after a confession something tragic inevitably happens, one of the leads has to leave (which 90% is the ML from my own watching experience), then the one left is all like I never loved you, I hate you, whatever, they cut contact. Cue a few years pass, they reunite in the last 5 mins of movie, and Happily Ever After. I wish they didn't have to do this exact formula to bring issues in the plot, It just feels monotonous, as soon as this exact thing started happening, my mind disconnected from the movie, and I just couldn't enjoy the last 25 minutes of movie, I skipped a few frames till I reached the ending, as expected, the same thing. It's not that I don't like clichés or anything like that, often I'm the first to support them, but it feels a bit lazy for these movies to always do this (clearly, it's not all movies, but I've seen enough with this formula to recognize a pattern), with no true meaning behind it, not character development, closure of existing problems, or introspection. It's just for te closure of the movie, with nothing important in it to make it relevant to the characters. I don't know, the movie that had me excited and even gushing for the characters at the start, left a bitter taste in my mouth, which drastically impacted my overall view of the movie.

O melhor filme coreano de romance que eu já vi

Quando fui assistir Amor Enrolado foi paixão à primeira vista. É um longa super envolvente, divertido, inspirador, cativante do início ao fim! A direção de uma mulher, a Sun, faz toda a diferença, estamos falando de uma quebra completa de estereótipos chatos, especialmente os misóginos. Quem é fã de dorama sabe que o normal é uma protagonista se rebaixar a um macho tóxico só porque ele é bonito, e sempre tem o outro cara que gosta da mocinha, a trata que nem rainha e mesmo assim ela prefere ficar com o outro tóxico. Sempre que também fazem um dorama de uma garota fora do padrão de beleza (Beleza Verdadeira e A Little Thing called first love), o desfecho é sempre despontador, a garota se força a entrar no padrão de beleza para somente assim ser aceita pelos outros. Esse filme é a reviravolta de todos esses clichês, se trata de uma mocinha colegial que aprender a se amar através da redescoberta dos seus cachinhos, da natação e de valorizar quem realmente a trata bem. Um show de empoderamento feminino. Também não tem aquela rivalidade feminina que sempre paira nos doramas como um todo. Basicamente é um filme super alto astral que se passa nos anos 90 com uma fotografia incrível, personagens instigantes, e bem no estilo de “Vinte e Cinco, Vinte e Um”. Destaque para o retrato de assédio que uma das mães sofre na história, são poucos os doramas que tem coragem de escancarar esse lado podre da sociedade machista.

THE CUTEST MOVIE EVER

why was this the cutest movie ever 😭 it felt like such a warm hug. and honestly I was kind of skeptical after hearing about the plot because it's been done bajillion of times and like even in 2025 curly hair is a problem to be solved?? but I'm so happy I was wrong because the movie was so amazing. it's one of those movies you'd rewatch to feel something, the ROM coms you just put on yk. I don't know I just love it. the female lead was so cute and the male lead was also so adorable. I also loved the second lead I don't think he was a lead but whtv because of the actor. it's just an amazing movie.
