Holy I mean I can’t really judge it since only 2 episodes are out but I would recommend like the plot has potential the acting is surprisingly good! U might feel lost like me at the 1st episode but I can reassure you that it got clearer in the 2nd episode! never really watch anime but this one is so good!!
honestly i've know quite a bit about this series and smartboom but never give it a try, not after all of the contract issues (june 15th, it took me two months btw). i watched the entire series in one go without knowing the plot (or not remember some spoilers i got) and didn't watch the trailer beforehand. the first ep and first half of the second ep got me questioning a lot of things tbh but after that i started to know what's the plot and what's going on. but again everything makes more sense after finishing the whole series and watch the trailer lmaothere're quite some scenes that i skipped, probably because it was going too slow or i just didn't remember the faces so i just skipped them. nc scenes are totally good, acting chemistry ost everything insane. i totally recommend this series if you are interested about entertainment industry.
spoiler alert but i do really wish for the next seasons to happen. there're some things that need to be delivered. some plots are still missing to be called a whole/completed story. but yeah i think that's all for now

Top Form — When a BL Reaches Its Peak
Sometimes a BL comes out and you enjoy it. Sometimes one comes out and you binge it in a few days. And then once in a while, a series appears that reminds you why you love this genre in the first place. Top Form is exactly that kind of drama.From the beginning, the story feels fresh even if the premise is simple. The setting inside the acting industry gives the drama a different kind of tension. Fame, rivalry, pressure from producers, expectations from fans… all of that surrounds the relationship between Akin and Jin. At first it looks like a classic competition story: the veteran actor who has been “the sexiest man of the year” for years suddenly challenged by a younger rising star. But what makes the story interesting is how that rivalry slowly transforms into admiration, attraction, and eventually something much deeper.
Boom Raveewit as Akin completely owns the screen. He plays the confident, experienced actor perfectly, but what makes his performance special is the vulnerability hidden behind that image. You can feel the pressure of fame on his shoulders. On the other side, Smart Chisanupong brings an almost innocent energy to Jin. His character starts as someone a bit lost in the industry, trying to find his place, and watching him grow emotionally through the series is one of the most satisfying parts of the story. And then there is their chemistry. Honestly, this is where Top Form becomes unforgettable. Some BL couples look good together, some feel natural, but Boom and Smart create something that feels electric on screen. Their interactions feel playful, tense, romantic, sometimes even a little dangerous. There are scenes where you barely have dialogue, just eye contact or a small gesture, and yet the emotions are completely clear.
Another thing that impressed me is how cinematic the series feels. The lighting, the framing of the scenes, even the way the actors move in certain moments makes the whole drama feel bigger than a typical BL production. It almost feels like watching a film about actors rather than just a romance story. The music also deserves praise because it actually supports the emotions of the scenes instead of overpowering them. What I loved the most is that the romance never feels forced. It develops naturally from admiration to attraction and then to love. It doesn’t try to shock the audience with unnecessary drama or exaggerated conflicts. Instead, it focuses on two characters learning to understand each other while navigating the complicated world of fame and expectations.
Final Thought
Top Form is the kind of series that shows how strong a BL can be when everything is done right: writing, acting, chemistry, and production. It feels mature, emotional, and visually polished, and the connection between the leads carries the entire story. For me, it’s one of those dramas that reminds you that BL can be more than a genre — it can simply be great storytelling. A perfect score feels completely deserved.

I laughed, I smiled, I cried and I was happy while watching this series. Although the ending leave a question to me. Star-actor/up-comin-actor & luv. Honey sex scene: "IMPRESSIONIST", image w/music = Beautiful. But: 2wice, "beautiful dreamer" =Naw; cant win em all. Showrunner's great to get CUs thruout, esp Boom (perfect name). Ep 10=a not-treacly dream of deceased grandma almost makes it (or does): "Mary had a little lamb" after =Naw,again...fire the music-choice guy (and where was the showrunner....).Nice, well-done, perfect ML acting: some music choice flaws, repeat plot (Jin saves Akin); but very NICE and Sexy.

Ok, this series was amazing
As a reader of the manga and watcher of the anime (yeah, I had issues with the questionable red flag behavior in the original), I wasn't quite sure what to expect going into this. But oh my goodness, they really did the story justice. It's probably one of my favorite BLs now. The two leads chemistry was amazing, the writing was on point - I'll definitely watch this again. My only complaint was with the overly sappy music during some of the romantic scenes, but it didn't take away too much from the experience.Loved it! Wanna see more of this type of BL.

What do I say, I've put this series on hold for quite sometime, guess I shouldn't have.Well, I had my reasons to not watch it cuz I'm coming from the anime for Junta x Takato, and it felt very idk was a bit unsettling for some reason BUT BUT BUTTTT, Topform is totally not it ... the characters are potrayed so freaking well.
LOVED SmartBoom (Boom is so freking cute ... his smile oh my god T_T).
Also not forgetting the honey scene, I've been listening about it for a while, but never expected the scene to be soooooooo sooooo fking sensual, the sounds ugghhhhbdfghsv.....

AND OOOHHH ... P' JADE ...... WOW damn that mann ... loved his character (obv him too 🫢)
Overall, I'm very satisfied after watching.

I love Smartboom still so much, even tho it's my biggest heartbreak and nightmare seeing these beautifull souls apart
Back to the drama, in the beginning the story is a little unclear, but when you look further it becomes clearer.
I really recommend it. Have fun watching!

Top Tier Acting!!!
This was by far one of the best shows I have seen in a really long time. I have not seen this well of acting in years! boom (Akins Character portrayed feelings unlike anyone I have seen. Smart (jin's characte) portrays anger so well so watch out hehe. The way this director, directed this entire masterpiece is unmatched. I wish I could give it a higher rating. the entire soundtrack for this series is amazing it matched every scene so well. I loved every shot that was filmed you could feel the intensity in the scene based on the camera angel or how it followed the actors. To say the least I loved everything about this show. I really don't have anything bad to say. I will truly miss this series!all my love to every single person who worked on this show. thank you for your hard work!! Top drama
This drama is genuinely impressive. The scripts are well-written, and the scenes are crafted beautifully, featuring actors who deliver clean and engaging dialogue (both fictionally and in reality).I thought the acting was outstanding. Smart did an excellent job, and Boom really surprised me – his expressions and the rawness with which he portrays his character made me emotionally connect with everything he expressed in this drama.
I also really liked the arc about the obsessive fan and the portrayal of the challenges that idols and actors face due to public scrutiny. They were both interesting and relevant. Many people seem to forget that celebrities deserve privacy and boundaries. I appreciate that dramas like this are attempting to highlight these issues. Hopefully, it resonates with some viewers.
Overall, this is an incredible drama, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only complaint is the honey. Why?! Just… why. Honestly, RIP that whole carpet!

Boom's Tears Need Their Own Salary
I just finished rewatching this show for the first time since it aired live, and a second watch had as much of an impact as the first watch. I have never read the source material and so some things there might be clarified, but I am simply going off of the show. Do let me know if I need to tag this with spoilers.Firstly, the cast and actors were all great, I truly believed the roles they were all playing, but the real standout performance was Boom.
Everytime he was on screen I was floored by how well he immersed himself in Akin and made him a 3D character. He was baby, he was sweetheart, he was professional while breaking down, he was crying during break up sex, he was a drunk menace and a confident actor who knows he's the shit, he was also easily manipulated and hurt, and don't even get me started on episode 10 and all the scenes with grandma made me cry because he truly made me live it.
The chemistry with Smart was on point, but I feel like although Smart did an amazing job his character was just slightly less fleshed out and he felt a little, at times, a catalyst for Akin's story. I wished to know a bit more about him as a person, about any family he may have, did they support his career, did he have friends apart from Mildy and Touch, just little tidbits like that would have made the character a little more full and so allowed Smart to shine next to Boom.
I also wished to see a conversation about the breakup, I think that was important to their relationship and kind of got glossed over a little. However, the fact that I was so immersed in the story beginning to end, how Touch and Mildy prayed for someone to fill Jin's heart and give him purpose and meeting Akin made him have something to work towards, to stand equal to the person he admires and loves so, Jin deserves this happiness, as does Akin who was always in the limelight and never had someone of his own, all this pressure and expectations placed on him, he deserves to have someone support him whole heartedly, even if it's someone who's slightly immature and thinks he can do what he wants (which are all traits I love about Jin).
Overall, there was believable character building, a well fleshed out story, a satisfying ending, a whole plethora of emotions, and a really good soundtrack especially during the NC scenes. Thoroughly enjoyed it. And again, one last shout out to Boom, he had to cry so much and he did it all so well honestly I could watch him cry and smile and giggle and be arrogant all day every day.
