if you are looking for fast-paced, lots-of-things-happening-in-the-episode kind of drama, then this is not for you.
in my humble opinion, the beauty of this drama lies in its quiet storytelling. the dynamics of dysfunctional families and how they were able to resolve their conflicts were all told through honest, thorough conversations and quiet moments. no meanies or baddies here to mess up the lives of our families but just families in conflict within and by themselves.
compared to a lot of the family dramas that i've seen, this is by far very well-written and portrayed with aplomb especially by the oldest OTP i have ever shipped!
overall, i still give this an 8! i eagerly awaited each episode every week while it was airing. rewatch value is only a 6 because i seldom rewatch anything anyway due to the heavy load of dramas on my watch list. =)

Stop me if you've heard this before, but, I literally stumbled onto this drama --because the first episode started while I was out of the room-- and didn't realize (until ep 16) that it was 50 episodes long! By that time I was in way too deep to bail. It was at once, cute, funny, dramatic, witty, awe-inspiring and downright frustrating, but worth every minute I spent in rapt enjoyment.

The story-line kept me guessing (though I thought I'd seen it all) and never strayed from its initial promise: you will Love this series and EVERY character who strutted and fretted across the screen. (For what it's worth, Eun Ju has got to be the cutest young Lady in the genre); but, I digress. Though things may not have turned out as I would have wanted them to from the start, it carried me along from title to credit-roll without apology as to how it had shaken my normally stoic emotional state. The underlying music was tasteful and held the script together without being pedantic, campy or unnecessarily over-sentimental.

Performances were masterful and made me believe that no improvements were necessary; if 'improvement' were at all possible. A true delight. If I'm ever cabin-bound in the mountains with a weeks worth of time and a solid internet connection, I could revisit 'Give Love Away' (or, 'A Little Love Never Hurts') set it on auto-play and watch every moment again without taking, wanting or needing a break in the flow.

No.

Disappointing ending/resolutions. None of the other couples deserve to be happy, especially Mi Joo. I don't even want to continue writing this comment for how pissed it left me. It's not like the drama was fine either, to summarize it, it's infested with multitude of problems following every "what not to do" in a family drama.

Jae Min's father and Mi Joo's mother shouldn't be allowed to be together for the exact same reason why Jae Min and Ha Kyeong weren't allowed to be together. The circumstances are identical!

Avoid this drama, there are countless better family drama out there.

This is going on my black list. I will never watch this drama again, such a disappointment >_< I skipped half the scenes that were irrelevant in this drama (mainly pertaining to Ha Rim & Mi Joo - they had ZERO chemistry) - I don't know what the writers were thinking.

Cast - everyone was ok except for one couple. but overall only two people kept me going: Ha Kyung & Jae Min - who had great chemistry - if they writers would have given me the romance of JM & HK over HR & MJ then this drama would have a much higher rating. the only other couple I enjoyed watching on this drama was the married couple Yoo Jin & Sung Hoon - she was prickly and we find out later why, and he was really loveable - seriously when I think of him I think of him saying 'baby' all the time - the way he says it with the accent he has towards his wife is just adorable! All men could learn some things from this man!
The eldest couple on this drama was cute but somewhere towards the end I started to get a bit irritated with them (mainly b/c of the relationship that MJ & JM had before that had now messed up what could have been a wonderful fates for one leading couple).

Music was really good.

rewatch value - 0 Dreadful if HR & MJ didn't exist in this drama then I would possibly give it a chance again - but they ruined that possibility for me...

Either way I became a fan of Lee Sang Yeob through this drama - he draws out your emotions SO well - I hope he gets more leading roles where he gets the girl! maybe another drama with him and Shin Da Eun again? ^^ - seriously they had GREAT chemistry and were really cute together.

Choi Hyun Kyung Love old cocks

This Drama just ignore second lead couple and focus on old micro penis, who is ready to screw any old whore he can find
and Most disappointing in jaemin
i can get it know why he was dumped because there is no use of man without balls just like ha Rim had
Jae min is no better then a eunuch
he not even once said he like ha Kyung because he doesn't have guts and this person in whole 50 ep did not show any growth at all
even his mistress sister become a better person at end but he but he remain
i found ha Kyung idiot after sometime that she fall for his empty words because he isn't able to protect anything
he doesn't have guts to call her his woman

never seen such selfish brother who cry about his first love in front of his little sister then he destroys her first love so he can put his penis in a gold digger whore
why this MI JOO and Jae min are meeting every Night alone without there partner knowing
HA RIM is nice to the point of being fake, his girlfriend is meting her ex every night and he isn't even jealous because he know she is gold digger and his parent have so much gold inside there butts

and WHY whole family is focusing on old cheater to fuck another old bitch, just let them die somewhere
first the hate there father and suddenly they start loving him this much that it looked fake
MI Joo a gold digger at end get the gold with a idiot looking ha rim he look like big idiot every time he smile without a reason

jae min and ha kyung were already approved by her family but our Jaemin doesn't have guts to take a golden opportunity
MOST IDIOT CHARACHER WRITTEN JAE MIN, I just regret liking this couple
after 42 it just make it hard to watch this shit

director even forgot what story was who main leads are,
he must have fallen for that old micro penis
