A university student plans to propose to her boyfriend at their graduation ceremony. Dressed in a white, low-cut wedding dress, she is prepared to sweep her boyfriend off his feet – but the romantic scene turns into an unexpected nightmare when he cruelly rejects her proposal. I did not expect to laugh as hard as I did watching this movie LOL. I was initially drawn in by Wallace Chung but when I saw that Zhou Xun was the leading lady, there was no doubt I would have to watch :) I'll start by saying what a rollercoaster this movie was! The range of emotions this movie brought out in me was a very rare combo; from full-blown secondhand embarrassment to a deep & somber bittersweet sadness then to hysterically laughing -just to name a few! This movie definitely had it's moments that's for sure. The romantic themes really captured how selfless love should be... and how selfish one might become to obtain it. All in all, "Meet Miss Anxiety" made for a pretty good rom-com that can manage to pull off being deep and pensive while also catch you off guard and make you belly laugh haha. xx
