#1: Miracle in Cell No. 7


Genre: Comedy, Drama, Melodrama                                                                          MDL Score: 9.3

Plot: A father, who is mentally handicapped, but loves his daughter very much, is falsely accused of a crime and sent to prison. Later, his daughter Ye Seung, who is a law school student, works to prove his innocence.


#2: Hope


Genre: Drama, Family                                                                                                 MDL Score: 9.0

Plot: On her way to school, a young girl named So Won (which literally means "wish" or "hope" in Korean) gets sexually assaulted by a drunk older male stranger. As a result, she suffers multiple internal injuries and has to undergo a major surgery, but her emotional wounds are equally difficult to heal. Their happy family shattered, her parents Dong Hoon and Mi Hee go through feelings of pain and rage. From the trauma of that day, So Won refuses to see or talk to her father, so Dong Hoon hides beneath the costume of his daughter's favorite cartoon character and becomes a "guardian angel" at her side. 


#3: The Road Home

Plot: A woman (Jeon Do Youn) is deceived by a friend of her husband and arrested for possession of drugs at the Paris, France airport. She is then imprisoned at a jail located on a remote island. Her husband (Go Soo) struggles to get her home.


#4: Our Heaven


Genre: Drama, Family, Life                                                                                         MDL Score: 8.6

Plot: Troubled celebrity Choong Ui gets into trouble with the law. He is then forced to do volunteer work at a health-care facility for the terminally ill that is about to be closed down. While working at the hospice, he is able to come to terms with his own psychological wounds and, at the same time, help the patients to continue with their dreams.


#5: The Attorney


Genre: Drama, Law                                                                                                     MDL Score: 8.5

Plot: Song Woo-Seok graduated from high school and eventually passed the bar. He is now an attorney in Busan specializing in tax law. The only reason that he became an attorney is for the money. Unlike other attorneys around him, he hands out his business card to pick up clients. One day, his views are changed by student activist Jin-Woo. Because of this, Jin-Woo is brutally tortured and put on trial. Song Woo-Seok decides to defend Jin-Woo as his client.


#6: Hwayi: A Monster Boy

Genre: Action, Thriller                                  MDL Score: 8.5

Plot: A 5 member gang, led by Seok Tae, kidnaps a baby boy named Hwa Yi and raises the baby like their own son. The baby boy is now 17 years old and has turned into a lethal killer. Taking part in his father's gang, Hwa Yi learns about his own past. Hwa Yi pulls out his gun to find out who he really is.


#7 Secret, Greatly

Genre: Action, Comedy, Drama, Tragedy                                                                  MDL Score: 8.4

Plot: A group of spies called the 5446 Corps were trained by North Korean elite special forces since their youth, ostensibly towards the lofty goal of unifying Korea. They are ambitiously dispatched to South Korea, where each disguises himself as a fool, an aspiring singer, and a high school student. Passing boring time without receiving any orders from the North, they gradually get used to life as ordinary neighbors in a small townuntil one day, their mundane lives are turned upside down when a "secret and great" mission is suddenly assigned to them. 


#8 The Terror Lives

Genre: Action, Drama, Mystery, Suspense, Thriller, Tragedy                                     MDL Score: 8.4

Plot: Yoon Young Hwa is a former popular TV anchorman, but due to an unsavory incident, he works now as a radio show host. One day, a listener calls in to the radio program and states that "I will blow up the Mapodaegyo Bridge." At first, the call is taken as a joke, but soon they realize it is real. The incident is then broadcast live on TV for the next 90 minutes. Yoon Young Hwa believes this incident is his chance to get back to being an anchorman. The situation quickly turns worse.


#9The Gifted Hands

Genre: Fantasy, Mystery, Thriller                                                                                MDL Score: 8.3

Plot: Yang Choon-Dong has been working as a detective for 3 years. A case occurs involving the kidnapping and murder of a young girl. While Detective Yang Choon-Dong investigates the case, he spots a mysterious graffiti painting on wall which depicts the actual crime scene. Yang Choon-Dong begins to pursue Kim Joon who painted the picture.

Finally, Detective Yang Choon-Dong catches Kim Joon. He soon learns that Kim Joon has the special ability of "Psychometry." Kim Joon can see someone's past simply by touching that person. Kim Joon also suffers because of his special ability. Meanwhile, Detective Yang Choon-Dong uses Kim Joon's special ability to pursue the kidnapper.


#10: My Paparotti

Genre: Drama, Life, Music                                                                                          MDL Score: 8.3

Plot: A troubled young man finds hope after discovering music with the help of his musical teacher.

Jang Ho (Lee Je Hoon) has a talented voice, but because of his poor family background he became a gang member. Nevertheless, Jang Ho likes to sing and desperately wants to become a singer. Sang Jin (Han Suk Kyu) used to be a well regarded vocal performer in Italy, but is now a music teacher at local high school in a small city. He doesn't particularly have passion in teaching his students. Meanwhile, Sook Hee (Kang So Ra) has a crush on Jang Ho.
