When it comes to dramas, chemistry and compatibility between the couples and other characters are one of the first things I look for to determine my interest. I love seeing interactions that make me smile and squeal like an idiot; or heart-warming friendships that bring me to tears because of all the love between them. This article lists some of my favorite kdrama pairings that i'd love to see together in a new future Kdrama. It includes couples, friendships, and groups that really made their respective dramas worthwhile.

The ladies of Age of Youth

While this isn't technically a pairing, I just had to include these 5 incredible girls. The entire drama was based around the bond and friendship between the five housemates and these girls did not disappoint. Not only did they have chemistry as a whole group, but smaller pairings and sub-units as well. Everyone, including myself, laughed, cried and screamed with them over the course of the drama. We were all sad to see it end. I'd love to see these five together again... perhaps in a second season of Age of Youth? *fingers crossed*

Shin Min Ah and So Ji Sub in Oh My Venus

Oh My Venus was one of my favorite dramas of 2015 and it was 10000% because of these two. I'm still new to dramaland, so this was my first time seeing both of them act, and I was in love with them instantly. Their romance was fun, flirty, and just made me feel good. They both portrayed dynamic and complex characters, while playing off of each other so well. They did romance well, they did funny well, and they did emotional well. They did it all well and made me long for a romance like theirs. I'd love to see these two in another romantic comedy!

Lee Jong Suk and Kang So Ra in Doctor Stranger

*Spoilers for Doctor Stranger below*

I only have one phrase to sum up this drama: Second Lead Syndrome. For me, I loved the scenes between Jong Suk and So Ra a million times more than the scenes between Jong Suk and Se Yeon. It's nothing against Se Yeon, I just think LJS and KSR had a muuuuch better dynamic and their scenes were fun to watch. Honestly, when I first started the drama, I thought KSR was the female lead once her character was introduced. I am still bitter to this day about this pairing being reduced down to a second lead and a one-sided love.

Seo In Guk and Park Bo Gum in I Remember You

***CONTAINS SPOILERS TO THE STORY***

I Remember You is high on my list of all-time favorite kdramas. As much as I loved Seo In Guk and Jang Na Ra as a romantic pairing, when you talk about chemistry in this drama, it's all about the chemistry between In Guk and Bo Gum as brothers. Their chemistry isn't the same as the chemistry I've been talking about thus far. Their chemistry was filled with guilt, anger, and feelings of betrayal. They were brothers who found each other again, but how happy can a reunion be when one of them has grown up to be something terrible? They played it amazingly. Scenes like the hair drying scene and the selfie scene portrayed in the picture above, were sweet and innocent, but incredibly sad at the same time. Seo In Guk and Park Bo Gum knocked it out of the park with this one.

Song Joong Ki and Jin Goo in Descendants of the Sun

Here is another drama where I didn't choose the main romantic pairing, but I don't think anyone is surprised to see these two on this list. The most popular, best friend duo of 2016, these two absolutely nailed it with the dynamic of these characters. Two complete opposites who trust and depend on each other more than anyone else. I was always happy watching them interact. Honestly, they played their characters so well that I was very shocked to find that Jin Goo wasn't as stoic and serious as his character, Seo Dae Young. The dynamic and banter between these two was amazing. They were the definition of bromance and I'd love to see that bromance again in a future drama.

Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young in Healer

This list would not be complete without the Healer pairing. Chang Wook and Min Young made our hearts flutter for 20 episodes with their sweet and epic romance. They mixed innocent romance with the thriller aspect of Healer perfectly. Their romance was beautifully done and it's all thanks to these two. If you watch the behind the scenes for Healer, you'd see that the chemistry continues off-screen, which is why I'd love to see them work together again. Besides, who wouldn't want to see another iconic beanie kiss!

Han Hyo Joo and Lee Jong Suk in W

Lee Jong Suk makes this list again as one half of the couple that inspired this article. I have been absolutely in love with the chemistry between these two since episode one. It's embarrassing to admit as a 21 year old, but I actually find myself flailing and screaming during scenes like the one pictured above. Even amidst all the craziness and suspense of the W plotline, LJS and HHJ have managed to give us an amazing romance that literally crosses universes. And the behind the scenes videos are always so fun to watch. Hyo Joo and Jong Suk are both such fun people and incredibly talented actors, who wouldn't want to see them together again?

So that's a short list of some of my favorite kdrama pairings/groups! My fingers are crossed that I get to

see someone of these wonderful actors together again. Who are some of your favorite kdrama pairings?
