Choi Byung Mo will be added to the cast of the upcoming action thriller K-drama EVILIVE.

It was officially confirmed on September 19 that Choi Byung Mo would be joining Shin Ha Kyun, Kim Young Kwang, and Shin Jae Ha in the upcoming ENA and Genie TV series EVILIVE.

Choi Byung Mo will be playing the role of Moon Hae Joon, one of the lawyers from the Myeongro Firm. He grew up in a family full of lawyers without flaws. He feels inferior to Han Dong Soo, Shin Ha Kyun's role who was his study mate while reviewing for the bar exam. 

EVILLIVE will tell the story of a livelihood lawyer who has a dark side meets an absolute villain and transforms him into an elite villain. 

The upcoming K-drama will premiere on October 14 through ENA and Genie TV. EVILLIVE will have a total of 10 episodes.

EVILLIVE is the collaboration work of directors Kim Jung Min (Remarriage and Desires and Secret Royal Inspector), Kim Sung Min (Where Should We Go), and screenwriter Lee Seung Hoon (Get on the Bus).

EVILLIVE will be the third K-drama of Choi Byung Mo for the year. The actor started 2023 with Joseon Attorney: A Morality wherein he worked alongside Woo Do Hwan, WJSN's Bona, VIXX's Cha Hak Yeon, Lee Kyu Sung, and Chun Ho Jin. He also appeared in Shadow Detective Season 2 in a cameo role.

Aside from K-dramas, Choi Byung Mo was also busy with two films this year. He was part of the Netflix original movie Kill Bok Soon and the film The Moon led by Sol Kyung Gu, EXO's Doh Kyung Soo, Kim Hee Ae, Park Byung Eun, and Jo Han Chul.
