"Queen of Tears" Close to Overtaking "Crash Landing on You"
Hello, fellow Asian drama watchers!
We all have a life. We get happy, sad, angry etc. When this happens, you sometimes find a sweet escape in the form of Asian dramas. In this article, I’m going to recommend a few dramas you can watch when you are angry. Some will be able to dim the fire, and some dramas will possibly add fuel. I decided to go with lesser-known dramas. This way you will hopefully discover some dramas you don’t know as well!
Without further ado, pick the suitable poison. I have two flavours: Adding Fuel and Dimming the Fire. :)
Adding Fuel
These dramas probably will make you angry. However, it’s a lot nicer to lash out on fictional characters than on real people.
 | Who Are You (13+)Genres: Mystery, Romance, School, Youth, Drama Type of Poison: This Thai drama is a remake of the South-Korean original ‘Who Are You: School 2015’. It focuses strongly on bullying. The bullying is frustrating enough to get your blood boiling! |
Avengers Social Club (15+)Genres: Friendship, Comedy, Life, Drama, Family Type of Poison: Ajumma’s who are ready to take revenge! This drama consists of some badass ladies who aren’t afraid to kick some ass. The characters around them (mainly the husbands) are annoying trash. You will yell and scream and these annoying characters while cheering the ajummas on. A great watch! |  |
 | Can We Get Married? (15+)Genres: Romance, Life, Drama, Family Type of Poison: This drama is all about marriage. What happens before the marriage and after the marriage. The main couple in this drama will make you want to pull your hair out. Especially the female lead. The moms also weren’t any better. This will make you even angrier for sure! |
Seisei Suruhodo, AishiteruGenres: Business, Romance, Drama Type of Poison: Focusing on adultery, you will be in for a ride with this drama! I personally found myself conflicted between wanting to root for the lead, but also wanting to slap some sense into them. |  |
 | Kenja no Ai (18+)Genres: Romance, Drama, MatureType of Poison: This adult drama portrays many unhealthy relationships. The Female Lead grooms a young man into someone who cannot live without her. What makes this so disturbing is that she starts doing this when the young man is a child. The reason for this is the fact that his parents have wronged her in some way. This drama has enough factors to get you looking at the screen with disgust. |

Dimming the Fire
Perhaps you are tired of being so angry. You want to chill and wind down a bit. These dramas are great for that!
 | Intense LoveGenres: Friendship, Comedy, Romance, Life, Medical Type of Poison: A simple romantic story between an actress and a doctor. There is no extreme big "bad", there are no extreme obstacles. In fact, there is a lot of sugary sweetness in this drama. You will find yourself calming down the second you see the leads interact with each other. |
Semi OtokoGenres: Comedy, Romance, Fantasy Type of Poison: The premise of this drama is perhaps a bit silly: a cicada turns into a human and starts living with other humans. This drama is actually really beautiful and fluffy. You will love seeing how the Male Lead tries to make our depressed Female Lead happy. |  |
 | Pegasus Market (15+)Genres: Business, Comedy, Drama Type of Poison: This is a hilarious drama about a market filled with people who usually wouldn’t be hired by other companies. Every character has a unique funny trait. The silly comedy will make you laugh enough to forget your anger. |
My Girlfriend is an AlienGenres: Comedy, Romance, Fantasy Type of Poison: A female alien gets stuck on earth and gets involved with a cold-hearted CEO. Our dear alien isn’t afraid to show how much she apricates the male body, which makes this a hilarious watch. |  |
 | Mei-chan no Shitsuji (13+)Genres: Comedy, Romance, School, Youth Type of Poison: A drama about butlers and their female masters. This drama is filled with some Ikemen (good-looking men). The drama is a bit older. Perhaps the visuals are no longer your taste? But it is definitely worth the try. Besides the eye-candy, the drama is really fluffy and a great watch! |
