Go Ah Sung will return to the big screen soon!
On August 2nd, media outlets revealed that Go Ah Sung will star in the upcoming movie "Because I Don't Like Korea" (literal translation).
Go Ah Sung's agency KeyEast Entertainment confirmed the reports. The company stated that the actress has decided to appear in the upcoming movie.
"I Don't Like Korea" will base its story on the novel of the same name by Jang Kang Myung. The film will depict the story of Gye Na, a woman in her late 20s who left everything, her job, family, and even her boyfriend to go to New Zealand and seek for her true happiness. The film will be directed by Jang Kun Jae.
Go Ah Sung will play the role of Gye Na. She will go on an adventure to escape from the country she hates and can't live on anymore.
According to reports, the movie has begun filming at the end of July. The premiere date and other details for the "I Don't Like Korea" film are not yet revealed.
This will be Go Ah Sung's comeback to the movie scene after the hit 2020 film "Samjin Company English Class."
The actress focused her career on dramas after the hit movie. She led the series "Crime Puzzle" with Yoon Kye Sang, Yoon Gyung Ho, Song Sun Mi, Kwon Soo Hyun, and Woo Hyun. She also participated in the two seasons of "Tracer" that aired on MBC and OTT platform wavve.
Go Ah Sung made her acting debut at an early age. She is one of the popular child actors of her generation.
