Han Hyo Joo and Park Hyung Sik will officially work together for a new tvN drama!

On May 7, it was confirmed that Han Hyo Joo, Park Hyung Sik and Jo Woo Jin will join the upcoming apocalyptic thriller drama "Happiness." The series is set to be produced by Studio Dragon, directed by Ahn Gil Ho and written by Han Sang Woon.

"Happiness" is set in a time where infectious diseases are prevalent. The city will crumble as a new type of infectious disease emerges, one that makes people suffer from violent thirst.

Park Hyung Sik will play the role of Jung Yi Hyun, a violent crimes detective. Han Hyo Joo will play the role of Yoon Sae Bom, a person who is quick to judge the situation and has a lot of determination. Jo Woo Jin will play the role of Han Tae Seok, who has a position at the Armed Forces Medical Command.

"Happiness" will start filming this May.

"Happiness" will be the comeback drama for both Park Hyung Sik and Han Hyo Joo. This drama will be Park Hyung Sik's first ever drama project after serving in the military. He is also in talks to join the new historical tvN series "The Golden Hairpin."

Meanwhile Han Hyo Joo last starred in the 2016 drama "W" with Lee Jong Suk. Although the actress has not been active in dramas, she actively participated in films such as "Love, Lies," "Golden Slumber," and "Illang: The Wolf Brigade." She will also join the upcoming movies "The Sun Does Not Move" and "The Pirates: Goblin Flag."

Aside from "Happiness," Han Hyo Joo is also confirmed to star in the drama "Moving" together with Jo In Sung, Cha Tae Hyun, and Kim Sung Kyun.

"Happiness" is slated to air the second half of the year.
