Kim Nam Gil is confirmed for a new SBS drama!

On June 15th, it was confirmed that Kim Nam Gil will lead the upcoming crime-mystery drama "Those Who Read Hearts of Evil" that will be directed by Park Bo Ram and written by Seol. 

"Those Who Read Hearts of Evil" will be based on the novel of the same name written in 2018 by Kwon Il Yong, the nation's No. 1 profiler. The novel was based on the writer's true story. The upcoming series will tell the story of South Korea's number one profiler named Kwon Il Yong. 

Kim Nam Gil will play the role of the profiler from Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's criminal behavior analysis team named Kwon Il Yong. He's the meticulous type who digs into cases more deeply than anyone else. 

The new SBS drama "Those Who Read Hearts of Evil" will begin filming as soon as the casting is finalized. Jin Seon Kyu and Kim So Jin are both in talks to join the new drama. 

"Those Who Read Hearts of Evil" is set to air in the second half of this year. It will have a total of  16 episodes and will exclusively air on SBS. 

Kim Nam Gil is packed with several drama and movie projects this year. Aside from "Those Who Read Hearts of Evil", the top actor will also lead the upcoming dramas "The Fiery Priest 2," "Island: Season 1," and "Island: Season 2." As for films, the actor will also take part in other projects namely "Joseon Firefighter," "Emergency Declaration,” and "Gwiseon.”

The actor last starred in the 2019 hit drama "The Fiery Priest" with Kim Sung Kyun, Lee Ha Nee, Go Joon, Geum Sae Rok, Jeon Sung Woo, and more.
