Jang So Yeon is confirmed to star alongside Wi Ha Joon and Jung Ryeo Won in a new K-drama
Kim Nam Gil will reportedly lead another Netflix original K-drama that will premiere in 2025.
It was reported on May 18 that Kim Nam Gil had been chosen as the main lead of the upcoming action thriller K-drama titled Trigger.
Kim Nam Gil's agency Gil Story ENT gave their statement through the media outlet Dispatch. According to the agency, "Kim Nam Gil received the offer to star in 'Trigger.' The actor is considering it positively."
Trigger will tell the story of two opposite men. One uses guns even for the weak and the other doesn't want to use or possess guns.
Kim Nam Gil got the offer to play the role named Ido. He is an incumbent police offer. He was also a former military sniper and also an Olympic gold medalist.
According to reports, the upcoming K-drama will have a total of 30 billion won ($22,486,395) budget for production. The upcoming series will be directed by Kwon Oh Seung, known for creating the film Midnight. The upcoming K-drama is set to be released in 2025.
Kim Nam Gil is booked and busy for the year. The actor is set to embark on a global tour next month. He will meet his fans in Tokyo, Osaka, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Singapore.
Aside from that, the top actor is also set to star in the upcoming K-dramas Song of the Bandits, Execution, and The Fiery Priest Season 2. He will also join the upcoming films Gwiseon and Joseon Firefighter with Kim Sung Kyun.
