Park Hae Soo in talks to reunite with Jeon Do Yeon in a new thriller mystery K-drama
Lee Chung Ah will be part of the cast of the upcoming SBS drama "One Dollar Lawyer."
On August 8th several media outlets shared that Lee Chung Ah will be added to the cast of the upcoming SBS law drama "One Dollar Lawyer."
Lee Chung Ah's agency J Wide Company confirmed the reports through Dispatch. The agency stated that the actress will be joining the new SBS drama.
"One Dollar Lawyer" will tell the story of a genius lawyer who only asks for a dollar (more or less a thousand Korean won) for his service. He has the best skills and fights against expensive lawyers and rich clients.
The series will be directed by Kim Jae Hyun. The script will be penned by the writer siblings Choi Soo Jin and Choi Chang Hwan ("Heart Surgeons" and "Defendant"). The drama will be produced by Studio S.
Lee Chung Ah will play the role of Lee Joo Young, a righteous lawyer. Her character will play an important role in the upcoming series.
The upcoming series will be led by Namgoong Min, Kim Ji Eun, Choi Dae Hoon, Lee Deok Hwa, Park Jin Woo, and more.
This will be the reunion of Namgoong Min and Lee Chung Ah after the 2020 series "Awaken."
"One Dollar Lawyer" will premiere in the second half of 2022.
"One Dollar Lawyer" will be the first acting project of Lee Chung Ah after two years. She last starred in the drama "Awaken" and film "Recipe For Happiness" that both aired in 2020.
Lee Chung Ah made her acting debut in 2002. Since then, she has starred in several dramas and films.
Aside from "One Dollar Lawyer," Lee Chung Ah is also confirmed to join the 2023 drama "Celebrity" with Park Gyu Young, CNBLUE's Kang Min Hyuk, Lee Dong Gun, and SECRET's Jeon Hyo Sung.
