Netflix's "A-List to Playlist" Brings IU, "Hospital Playlist" Squad, and More for Jo's Singing Debut

Veteran actor Jo Jung Suk's singer-songwriter debut project A-List to Playlist is confirmed to be released on August 30. 

A-List to Playlist, brought by Netflix, is a documentary show that follows Jo Jung Suk as he tries to fulfill his desire to become a singer-songwriter. 

The star-studded lineup of celebrities who will be seen on the show are Gummy, the K-hip hop icon Dynamic Duo (Choiza and Gaeko), Kim Eana, the Hospital Playlist squad (Jung Kyung Ho, Kim Dae Myung, Yoo Yeon Seok, Jeon Mi Do), Gong Hyo Jin, Park Hyo Shin and IU. Moreover, Jung Sang Hoon, CEO of Jung Sang Planning, and Moon Sang Hoon, the PR head, have also pledged their support for Jo Jung Suk.  

Actress Gong Hyo Jin appears as the female lead in Jo Jung Suk's music video. 

PD Yang Jung Woo stated, "A-List to Playlist is truly a story woven together stitch by stitch through a series of fortunate events, twists and turns, and the help of supporters who appeared one day." He added, "As you follow Jo Jung Suk's tempo and rhythm, you'll be able to watch pleasantly and enjoyably as if you were listening to an album on a record player." 

Jo Jung Suk, who feels like his singing debut is a dream, expressed his gratitude by saying, "Though I couldn't show everything in such a short period, I wanted to convey my sincere passion for music. I am deeply thankful to everyone who readily agreed to participate. Looking back, I'm so grateful to those who helped that it brings tears to my eyes." He added, "Everyone was sincere and gave their best, but unexpected and amusing situations arose, which I think will be entertaining for the viewers to watch."
