Chae Jong Hyeop in talks to lead a new romance K-drama about ex-lovers
f(x) Krystal Jung is confirmed to appear in the second season of Player.
On May 29, tvN officially confirmed that the season 1 original cast member Krystal Jung will make a special appearance in The Player 2: Master of Swindlers. She will reunite with the main leads Song Seung Heon, Tae Won Seok, and Lee Si Eon.
The Player 2: Master of Swindlers will continue to showcase the collaboration of scammers, hackers, fighters, and drivers to locate and steal the dirty money of the rich.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next collaboration work of directors Go Jae Hyun, So Jae Hyun, and writer Park Sang Moon.
In the series, Krystal Jung will continue to portray the role of Cha Ah Ryung, the best driver from the first season.
Last year, actor Song Seung Heon posted some photos while filming for The Player 2: Master of Swindlers. Krystal Jung was spotted in one of the photos raising expectations about her cameo appearance.
Aside from Song Seung Heon, Tae Won Seok, and Lee Si Eon, Oh Yeon Seo, Jang Gyu Ri, Ha Do Gwon, and more will join the new season.
The Player 2: Master of Swindlers will begin airing on June 3 at 8:50 PM KST. It will be part of the Monday and Tuesday K-drama timeslot of tvN.
The Player 2: Master of Swindlers will be the comeback of Krystal Jung to the K-drama scene after two years.
She last starred in the 2022 series Crazy Love with Kim Jae Wook, Ha Joon, Yoo In Young, Im Won Hee, and Park Han Sol.
Last year, Krystal Jung starred in the star-studded film Cobweb. She worked alongside Song Kang Ho, Lim Soo Jung, Oh Jung Se, Jeon Yeo Been, Park Jung Soo, and more.
