So Ji Sub is positively considering starring in an upcoming Netflix series "Exemplary Family" alongside Jung Woo.
On February 24th, media outlets revealed that So Ji Sub received an offer to star in the upcoming series titled "Exemplary Family" that will be directed by "Love Alarm" PD, Kim Jin Woo.
So Ji Sub was offered the role of Ma Kwang Chul. The series will showcase the life of an ordinary family that is on the verge of bankruptcy, before they get involved in a drug ring. The drama will narrate the importance of family and how they will deal with the drug syndicate threatening them.
If So Ji Sub confirms his casting, this will be the actor's first drama since his marriage. So Ji Sub is currently filming for the upcoming movie "Alien" with Ryu Jun Yeol, Kim Woo Bin, Kim Tae Ri, and more. Reports stated that So Ji Sub will proceed to film "Exemplary Family" after his upcoming movie filming wraps up.
So Ji Sub has been active as an actor for more than a decade. He is usually in at least one drama or movie every year. He's known for his good acting and gentleman personality.
So Ji Sub made his name known with hit works such as "What Happened in Bali", "I'm Sorry, I Love You", "The Master's Sun", "Rough Cut", "The Battleship Island", and many more. The actor last appeared in the 2018 MBC drama "Terius Behind Me" with Jung In Sun, and Son Ho Jun wherein he played as a legendary black ops agent for the National Intelligence Service (NIS).
If So Ji Sub accepts the offer, "Exemplary Family" will be his first ever Netflix original project.
