Cho Yi Hyun will reportedly lead a new SBS webtoon based K-drama
Song Joong Ki will reportedly lead the upcoming movie "Hwaran."
On June 24, media outlet mydaily reported that Song Joong Ki received an offer to lead the upcoming noir film "Hwaran."
Song Joong Ki's agency HISTORY D&C responded to the reports and stated that the actor is reviewing the offer positively.
"Hwaran" is a noir film that will revolve around characters who make dangerous choices to escape from hellish reality.
There are no official broadcast and cast details yet for the upcoming film.
"Hwaran" will be produced by Sanai Pictures and HISTORY D&C.
Song Joong Ki is set to star in the upcoming movie "Bogotá: City of the Lost" with Lee Hee Joon, Ryu Seung Beom, Jo Hyun Chul, and Juana del Río.
The actor is also currently filming the upcoming drama "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate" with Lee Sung Min, Shin Hyun Bin, Jo Han Chul, Kim Nam Hee, and Kang Gi Doong.
Song Joong Ki is active both in the drama and movie scene. Last year, he was part of the hit series "Vincenzo" with Jeon Yeo Been, 2PM's Ok Taec Yeon, and Kwak Dong Yeon, and the film "Space Sweepers" with Kim Tae Ri, Jin Seon Kyu, Yoo Hae Jin, Park Ye Rin, and Kim Mu Yeol.
The actor made his acting debut in 2007. He is known for being part of the films "A Frozen Flower," "Five Senses of Eros," "A Werewolf Boy," and "The Battleship Island."
