UKISS Lee Jun Young will be joining IU and Park Bo Gum on the upcoming K-drama You Have Done Well.
On March 15, industry insiders revealed that Lee Jun Young was seen participating in the first script reading session of the upcoming K-drama You Have Done Well.
Lee Jun Young's agency J-flex responded to the reports. The agency confirmed that Lee Jun Young will be part of the upcoming star-studded series.
This will be the fourth upcoming 2023 K-drama of the idol actor. He is also set to star in the upcoming series Mask Girl, Royal Loader, and Na Rae, Kicking Out. Aside from that, Lee Jun Young will also join several upcoming films such as Brave Citizen, The Wilderness, and More Painful Than Sadness.
Last year, Lee Jun Young was also busy with his debut film and MBC K-drama. Last year, he became the leading man of two idol actresses. He worked alongside Girls Generation's Seo Hyun in the movie Love and Leashes and he also led the K-drama May I Help You with Girls Day's Lee Hye Ri.
Lee Jun Young started his acting career in 2017. He was part of the K-dramas Avengers Social Club, Class of Lies, Good Casting, Please Don't Date Him, Imitation, D.P., and more.
You Have Done Well will be led by IU, Park Bo Gum, Moon So Ri, Park Hae Joon, Na Moon Hee, and Choi Dae Hoon.
The upcoming series will showcase the life and journey of rebel Ae Soon and quiet Gwan Sik who resides in Jeju in the 1950s. It will showcase their romance in all four seasons.
It will be the next work of director Kim Won Suk ("My Mister," "Signal," and "Misaeng: Incomplete Life") and writer Im Sang Choon ("When the Camellia Blooms" and "Fight for My Way").
There are no official details yet on what character will Lee Jun Young portray in the upcoming K-drama.
The script reading happened today and according to reports, the filming will begin by next month.
