Actor Lee Eol passed away at 58.

A representative from the actor's agency told media outlets that Lee Eol had passed away after battling esophageal cancer. He died at the age of 58. 

According to reports, the actor had a hard time and struggled with his cancer after the conclusion of his last drama "Voice 4: Judgment Hour." 

The mortuary of the deceased will be at the funeral hall of the Seoul Medical Center. 

Lee Eol has starred in several dramas such as "Love Scene Number," "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," "Hot Stove League," "Justice," "Live," and more. 

He was also included in the films "The 8th Night," "Kim Ji Young: Born 1982," "Nowhere to Turn," "Holiday," "Waikiki Brothers," "The Man of 49 Days," and more. 

Before the actor passed away, he starred in the 2022 movie "The Policeman's Lineage" with Jo Jin Woong, Choi Woo Shik, Park Hee Soon, Kwon Yool, and Park Myung Hoon

Lee Eol is also part of the upcoming film "Wonderland" cast with Bae Suzy, Park Bo GumChoi Woo Shik, and Jung Yu Mi. There is no update yet on what will happen to the casting of the actor for the movie. 

The actor made his acting debut in 1994.
