Winner's Song Min Ho will reportedly join the upcoming Netflix original film "Seoul Vibe"
On November 10th, several reports stated that Song Min Ho will be making his film debut through the upcoming film "Seoul Vibe."
"Seoul Vibe" is directed by Moon Hyun Sung ("The King’s Case Note"). The movie is a car chasing action film that is set around the 1988 Seoul Olympics. It will showcase the story of the Supreme Team in Sanggye-dong, which was deployed to investigate VIP slush funds on the day of the opening ceremony of the 1988 Seoul Olympics. The film's budget is reportedly 15 billion Korean won (~$13 million). It was also reported that the cast had already begun shooting.
The upcoming film will be led by Yoo Ah In, Go Kyung Pyo, Lee Kyu Hyung, Park Joo Hyun, Ong Seong Wu, Kim Sung Kyun, Jung Woong In, and Moon So Ri.
If Song Min Ho accepts the casting offer, this will be his first-ever take on acting for film since his debut.
"Seoul Vibe" will premiere exclusively on Netflix.
Song Min Ho is a member of YG Entertainment's boy group Winner. The idol has been active in his group and solo activities. Song Min Ho is not only skilled in singing, rapping, and dancing but he's also one of the few idols who excels on variety programs. "Seoul Vibe" will be his first official acting debut.
Aside from the upcoming film, Song Min Ho is currently part of the audition program "Show Me The Money: Season 10." He will also join the upcoming programs "Sing Again 2" and "New Journey to The West: Season 9."
Last August, Song Min Ho together with other Winner members renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment.
