I think those were just examples from the internet ^_^
re: FMA Group, yeah by FMA I meant Fullmetal Alchemist, sorry, but by group, if you haven't been to cons before a lot of people choose to get together with friends to do a group cosplay where everyone in the group chooses a character from the same anime. on the con's forums and facebook page and on cosplay forums like the one i mentioned to you, you can often see people posting asking for a group to join up with or asking for more members to join their grouping so they can meet new people with similar tastes but also give a better representation of the anime they're cosplaying. so like you could go on the AN page and ask if there are any FMA groups for example that could use a Rose, or whatever anime and character you choose. you could even find or start a group for cosplayers incorporating the hijab into their grouping, especially in T.O. I'm sure there MUST be some
I'm going to try to go to AN myself next year, not sure what I'll be doing for cosplay yet but maybe we can meet up ^_^
OH and if there's still any doubt, even professional cosplayers like Yaya Han (who still shows a lot of skin) say it's perfectly fine to alter a cosplay design for modesty or even just for creativity's sake. I've seen her post a few pics where she changed a few things and said she thought it would look better this way or suit her better that way or it was more comfortable, showed less skin etc etc. she doesn't always stick 100% to the original design, for various reasons. and she's a pro, as in, she makes a living doing this. and she's damn good at it. so for real, don't worry about it :D
