I heard there were rumors a while ago about a second season airing this year. Does anyone have any info on that?

Yes there will be a second season but I don't think it will be for 2014 like everyone said it will be. I think it's either planned for 2015 or afterwards and the cast is not confirmed yet. I think it would be better to do a second season of the drama and the anime when the manga is completed that if Nakamura sensei ever decide to complete the whole thing.

Yeah, I've always seen Skip Beat as one of those un-ending manga series. The way it's going it never even crossed my mind it'd get an ending someday hehe

did anyone else mostly watch this for the director? sure I loved the story line and the characters but the story could have been shit and i'd still watch it for the director. that guy's over the top flare for the dramatic made every episode.
