Hi! Can I ask how close is the donghua to the source material?

This is the best long donghua/anime series I ever watched.  In the past anime with more than 100 episodes left me with a bad taste in my mouth (I'm thinking Sailor Moon, Naruto, etc.)  So much filler episodes.  This donghua is slow, but it's infused with Tencent talent and SFX.  Tencent has the best writers and SFX artists in China mainly because they're a rich company, so can afford all that talent.  Tencent doesn't always produce good stuff (Ancient Love Poetry), but when it's good, it's really good!  This donghua series alone worth the VIP monthly subscription fee to WeTV...

That's great! Okay I'm watching the donghua already at ep 14! So far so good the art is amazing and I like how they actually explain all the mechanics. BTW is this donghua still ongoing and updated weekly or something?

1 new episode released every week.  This week (Aug 15, 2021) episode 169 came out.   Next week episode 170.
