Books about the history of Asian dramas?

I'm interested in learning more about the history of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean dramas.  Can anyone recommend a good book?  A book about 1 of the 3 countries would be fine, it doesn't have to be about all 3.

If you know of any good articles that I can read online, I would be interested in those as well.
