Which gender do you prefer?

I saw recently a request for dramas "where the FL becomes an empress".

It made me think. Which type of dramas do you prefer, what gender do you prefer in these kind of dramas:

A dramatic story where the FL becomes an empress/queen
or
A dramatic story where the ML becomes an emperor/king

A romance story about a rich ML and a poor FL
or
A romance story about a rich FL and a poor ML

I prefer stories about male characters and rarely watch dramas/movies where the main lead is a woman, especially if they're historical dramas/movies.

When it comes to romance stories both characters are equally important and I don't really care which one is poor/rich, I just want the story to be good.

In general both.

But a story specifically about about becoming and emperor/king would be a little boring compared to becoming empress/queen. You already know who will be king from the day they’re born.
