Your Sky: Uncut - episode 11
I held appreciation for the writing that went into the dialogue between Rak's mother, father and grandfather regarding Rak dating Fah. It was real. When Rak's mother said she was disappointed too, I was questioning her acceptance of Rak's dating choices, but then I really thought about what she said and considered the circumstances. I then understood that as a parent you have certain dreams for your child, and within many Asian societies one such dream is that your child gives you grand children through traditional means that come with a daughter-in-law. Her accepting her son and putting his happiness above any dreams of her's shows the love she has for him as well as it shows that she understood that her dreams do not have to be his, and he should not be forced to conform to such dreams of a parent.
The father's initial reaction and outburst was a little dramatic but his reasons were realistic, and his actions in putting Rak under basically house arrest were also real; at least in my opinion.
Now, you guys know I love my side-couple, so yes I enjoyed every moment of their screen time lol
I look forward to the next episode, which is the finale!
