Thank you to both of you and the others that DM'd me the past few days with words of kindness and support. I have made lots of great BL buddies and received a lot of joy and laughter on this thread. It's like no other! I'm sorry, again, for what happened. I meant no ill will toward anyone.

Although this show seems like it has higher stakes, maybe more like the YA novel series ‘Selection’ or ‘Three Dark Crowns’.

Like I feel some side characters will die lol

I only the basic idea of the Selection and Three Dark Crowns but I can see where you are coming from because of the competition

The Princess diaries is very nostalgic for me and it could be because I watched it as a kid the first time.

I can see what you’re talking about beauty standards but it’s a 2000s movie so there’s always something like that in the movies back then
