Finally a thread on this great actor! I first watched Long Vacation many months ago, which I loved, and I had no idea of whom this actor was. After watching many other dramas with other actors, I came across Nankyoku Tairiku and suddenly realized that he was a really a fantastic actor and I decided to watch all of his dramas. So far I have watched quite a few (about 10) and I have to say that he is truly a good actor (Ok, he is also handsome, but it is a side bonus) who would have certainly won some awards also abroad if he had starred outside Japan. I am not as keen of him as a singer, but I do enjoy his talent as a TV entertainer when he is in the SMAP group. I am curious to see all his future works too.
