Whose planning to watch what? I think there are way too many medical and detective dramas...Fundamentally most medical and detective dramas are basically the same with changes of setting, characters, etc.

Can't say I'm excited to see Gouriki and Takei Emi star in detective dramas since they are both flat on screen. Might check out the Gouriki one for Tamaki Hiroshi. He's a good actor so he'll probably save the drama.

Amami Yuki's dramas sounds almost exactly like Boss...I might check it out.

I am a fan of Miura Haruma but terminal illness dramas don't do it for me. I may end up skipping his new drama.

I can say I am excited to watch Shitsuren Chocolatier for MatsuJun, Yoru no Sensei sounds interesting, Nazo no Tenkousei and Tenchuu sound interesting, and Saigo no Keikan for Ayano Go and Mukai Osamu. Hanasaki Ashita sounds interesting as well. I will also check out Yamikin Ushijim-kun 2. Dark System ~ Koi no Ouza Ketteisen seems like it has an interesting plot. Lost Days will earn a watch from me as well.

Any dramas of the upcoming season sound interesting?

I hate medical dramas with a burning passion and I can take or leave police dramas. Nazo no Tenkousei because I like Iwai Shunji's films, Dr. DMAT because my mum is a fan of Ohkura, the Miura Haruma one because I like it when pretty boys die, Ashita Mama ga Inai because mother-child is my favourite theme. Tenchuu and and Dark System sound interesting.
Agree. I'm a J-drama addict but I kind of dislike their fascination towards detective/police dramas followed by medical ones. Of course, some of them are pretty good but most of the time it is the same thing so I just skip them. I have yet to give a glance at these coming season titles (btw, the link does not work anymore) but in the meantime I do know I'll watch: - Miura Haruma's new drama; I'm his fan and I have the hope that nothing can be worse than Last Cinderella... - I guess Shitsuren Chocolatier as well; not a big fan of Matsumoto Jun but I do like food related dramas. Ahh, is there a new one with Amami Yuki on it?? doesn't matter the plot/genre/anything, I watch anything with her!
Sorry, didn't realize the link wasn't working, has been updated.
MatsuJun, Mukai Osamu and Miura Haruma <3 I'll be busy watching drama this winter hehehe
Thanks! I'll definitely be watching Shitsuren Chocolatier and Boku no ita Jikan. Not very sure about Amami Yuki's Kinkyuu Torishirabeshitsu though... I'd rather watch one of the pending works I have yet to watch from her first. SHARK makes me very curious so I'll add it to the list as well, I hope someone sub it. Then, I may give a try at any of these, it all depends on which one is subbed faster - Ashita, mama ga inai: sounds interesting plus Ashida Mana is on it :) - Nazo no Tenkousei: the story and homepage images look interesting, the trailer doesn't say much... but maybe. - Lost Days: first I read tennis and said yay! but then it seems tennis will not be very much involved with the story xD the photos and settings seem nice though... plus the story makes me curious.
I want to try Ashita Mama ga Inai because it has that little girl from Mother. She's so good! My biggest hopes are on Shitsuren Chocolatier. It's the only rom-com. We need more romance dramas! I would watch Haruma's drama but it's another disease story... I think I'll pass. Tenchu sounds weird, I just want to see what it is if it's subbed. *_*
watching boku no ita jikan, shitsuren chocolatier, and iryu 4... but my fav so far is boku no ita jikan... 4 is too much for iryu so i might get bored..
Boku no ita jikan is going pretty well until now (watched until ep. 2) :D I also started watching Shitsuren Chocolatier and dropped it around minute 10, I was sleepy after all xD Still waiting for some group willing to sub one of the other titles I'm interested in :D
Watching Boku no Ita Jikan, Yoru no Sensei, and Senryokugai Sosakan. Planning to watch Ashita, Mama ga Inai and Sanbiki no Ossan. Dropped Shitsuren Chocolatier, Fukuie Keibuho no Aisatsu, and Dr. DMAT. Overall, this season seems to be pretty weak, but that's probably due to my lack of interest in medical and detective dramas.
what? that fast? what's wrong with shitsuren chocolatier? xD honestly I'm not too much into watching it, but still food-related drama :D
Ah, I'm not much of a food buff either. The romance in Shitsuren Chocolatier isn't to my liking, especially with Saeko's overexaggerated character.
I think this season for Japanese dramas is weak overall...hm.
