Was that an engagement???? Until now I thought it was the marriage, just not the official one with all the paper signing, that's why he was threatening her not to sign them... to make her do something, I don't remember and I don't want to remember...

:D Ohohoho~ I'd say the first, as if it were the 2nd, then JiWon would be kissing SeungGi :p She's the master of masters in that respect

I only remember being puzzled by it and wanting to post something on the thread to ask for confirmation - something I never did because it would have meant getting involved in that thread which was nothing but a chorus of cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeee, hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii and haaaaaaaaaaaa and <3<3<3<3 (I'm always lost in front of those. Can one comment on exclamations? :P)

I'm more inclined to think it was SeungGi, taking advantage of the fact they were filming in a crowd and she couldn't simply pull away (even if she wanted, and I don't see why she should have, lol). That kiss was just too natural, in my opinion.
I agree with you that Ha Ji Won has a very distinctive charm. I am a woman, but I won't hesitate in declaring I'm a little in love with her too. ;)

That would actually be very sweet and GREAT!!! If that's so, way you go GeunGi...
As another woman... I COULDN'T AGREE WITH YOU MORE!!!
I read somewhere that during the filming of Hwang Jin Yi, Jang Geun Suk developed a true crush on her and even declared it publicly. He was... 19 I think, while she was 28. Not that I have anything against age differences, it just shows she clearly is a fascinating woman. :)
amrita828 wrote: @Lis: in some cultures the engagement is a true bond, equal almost to the marriage itself because it marks the moment the promise between the two is done. I was a little confused too, and that's because they throw in western customs like white dress, bouquet and red wine which we associate to only marriage.
All doubts are dispelled when Jae Ha talks to Bung Gu and offers to postpone or cancel the wedding, which should be held in three months time. :)

P.S. I had a similar doubt with Playful Kiss, when they have that engagement party that looks like a marriage, remember?

Ah, ok. Yeah, I was very confused because of the white dress, but even more so because of the bouquet...Thanks for the clarification.

I've try to not conjure up images of Oh Ha Ni as much as I can...lol

Sorry, it wasn't my intention to leave a scar in your phyche (or re-open it). ;) When I don't want to think about that drama as a whole, I remember the only scene which truly made me laugh out loud, when she goes working in that store, he comes in unexpected and she has to zip up her sweatshirt to serve him, asking him to grab his change by himself; two minutes after she's at the front door delivering chicken, no less. LOL

Well, for once Sukkie will look convincing, then...

I'm sorry, not my intention to offend his very numerous fans. I think he has talent but he's choosing his roles badly. I loved him in My Baby and I and in Beethoven Virus, he was very good in Do Re Mi... although the film is a mess, imo. But from YaB on, he's jumped into the idol pond and his acting has become unconvincing, too concentrated on showing how cute/eye candy he is, expressing the same emotions another hundred like him do.
I'm sorry, I know this sounds rude, but I truly loved him before and I hope he finally lands on some good directors and some good scripts that make him grow as an actor and not stagnate on the role of the typical teenage romantic hero.

And since we are on the K2H thread, I could compare him to Lee Seung Gi, who's the same age and is also some kind of idol turned into actor. This guy is truly and notably growing as an actor. I watched Shining Inheritance and some episodes of MGIAG and I can see his stunning improvements in the acting department, the way emotions are conveyed, glances, stance, lines delivery.

In conclusion, Sukkie's cute and has potential, but if he keeps on taking up roles like YaB, Mary stayed out, You're my pet (YUCK) he can forget to have me as a fan - not that it changes anything for him, lol.
Please forgive me for double-posting; I thought I could update you on the thrilling Telenovela "Rita's watching a k-drama with her mom" - airing on Sundays, still ongoing.

She came over yesterday for the second session, i.e. episodes 3&4 and her enthusiasm is growing so fast I fear I have inadvertently created a monster.
You may remember her heart received the first blow by the display of Jae Ha's jerkiness (jerkery? jerkishness?) at the end of episode 2. She has been thinking it over the whole week and here's her verdict: "He's a spoiled brat, so the main point of the drama will be his growing up. However, he's too cute to ever be hateful and I love him nonetheless."
Am I the only one who smells fangirling in its early, disquieting stages?

But you know what they say: always listen to your mother, she is right even when she's wrong - was it Bridget Jones? Really, the sources of my knowledge...:P

I explained to her the whole Hyeong, Oppa, Unni, Banmal and Joendae mal issue and she is fascinated. My mom is German mother-tongue, being Austrian, and a bit of a language natural talent, or perhaps I should say that she has an uncommon talent at communication: when she doesn't know the language, she uses hands, intonation, feet and whatever is needed, or downright tries out non-existent words.
Since she's not deterred by such a trivial matter as language barriers, she asked me to stop translating the subs because she'd rather read them in English, or infer what's going on from the actors' expressions and intonation of the voice.
Soon I'll be the one asking her for explanations. :P

She reacted to episodes 3 and 4 exactly as I wished she would, laughing out loud at Man Shik's obsession with Girls Generation, gasping at Jae Ha's shooting, feeling for the King's bitter disappointment in his younger brother and generally rejoicing in Jae Ha and Hang A's banters. In short: she's hooked.

This leaves me with a problem, which I hadn't anticipated in the joy of having someone share the love for this drama with me: now, every time I watch an episode I think how my mother will react to it. I'm already dreading episode 7 and 8 and I don't know what I should do if the writer decides to kill off someone else.
Please, Hong Sisters I like, let the next be an evil one and be satisfied! If not for my heart, at least for my mother's.
haha~ Rita~ that's so awesome, I wish I could make my mom watch with me, and though,

too, but unlike your mother, she's gets nervous that she doesn't understand this or that, and when I start to translate to her and she doesn't hear the voices of the actors, her interest fades...
Please, keep us updated on your mom's adventures to the dramaland!!! ^^
Wow the last episode was so intense~ I can´t get enough of the Drama...It is as good as Rooftop Prince!:) Still it´s really unfortune I somehow only watch airing Dramas and it always takes soooo long for them to come out(T.T)
I just saw episode 1 of K2H and I am in luuurrrrvvveeeee with LSG ............NOT !! buhahahahahaha although I have to say I much prefer him to the dreaded HJW hope she gets more bearable in later eps.... I will stick with it for now as kamz lured me into watching this with promises of Jo Jung Suk (Eun Si Kyung) as a stand out character lol
