I'm really glad that they didn't drag the whole memory-loss thing out and made it too dramatic. I've seen too many dramas with people losing their memory, haha.

I was just thinking that. It's really refreshing having two people who like each other, do nothing to hide the fact that they like each other, don't have anyone evil trying to rip them apart (Dong Min's cute and harmless), and aside from that teeny tiny 300 year time difference... well, who knows how they are going to work that out, and I suppose there will likely be some angst before we're done, but unlike almost every other drama I am watching currently, I don't find every person in this one absolutely infuriating. Not that I necessarily dislike the other dramas, or would want every drama to be like this one, but it takes a lot of energy to hate people (Joon's mom in Love Rain, John Mayer in K2H, Tae Yong and Se Na in RTP, basically everyone in Fashion King), and the emotional roller coasters take a lot of energy too... so it is nice to get a break.
And I meant Tae Mu not Tae Yong...
OH MY GOD!!! THIS WASN THE BEST-MOST GORGEOUS-MOST ROMANTIC-MOST BUTTERFLIES-IN-MY-STOMACH KISS EVER!!! *deep breaths, Vi, deep breaths...hoohiiihooohiiii*
I'M DOWNLOADING THIS DRAMA!!!!!

Couldnt have said it better myself! Love that everything is straight forward and chilled. It's just so easy to watch this drama, lighthearted atmosphere but with a good (serious?) storyline. I love that I love all the characters in this...everyone one of them....even the one playing Jang Hee Bin (cant remember her name since she hasnt appeared for a while) and the baddies. I would have hated it if it dragged the memory loss thing...this drama would lose its charm if they did!

This series to simply put it...is charming!
OH MY GOODNESS! Episode 11 is out!! do I watch it now or later with subbs?!
EPISODE 11 RECAP!! OMGAWD http://joonni.com/2012/05/23/recap-queen-in-hyuns-episode-11/
but yes this drama is so natural and isn't overdone at all! I love the main characters' chemistry and overall the drama is amazing! I don't know what I'll do when the drama ends... It'll be hard for me to like another drama after watching such a well made one like this! :DD

I'm still hoping HEE jin will travel back in time. Other theory is that the baddies mangaes to get their own talisman for them? I dont know but I really want Boong Do and Hee Jin to get together in the end. Theyre too perfect to be apart...looks like they got great chemistry off screen too!! Who woulda thought this couple would work so well...!!!

I know what you mean! This show just gets me so giddy and I can't stop smiling for a while after watching an episode, it's just that GOOD. Their chemistry is explosive, like every time they're even in the same frame together, you can just hear the fireworks go off. There's also something about the height difference that is just LKSDHJAS I don't even know what it is but I love that he's so much taller than her, especially during that kiss in ep 11 when she got up on his feet /swoon and thank god for cable XD

This was the only part I watched from the episode, did not want to spoil it for myself :P

I really do wonder how they're gonna go forward from here on, though I agree with you about sending HJ to the past, that would be interesting. More so if she meets the real queen in hyun, with BD there lol

I completely agree. It's hard enough falling in love, but on top of that evil exes or parents or even worse birth secrets to keep you apart. I love that they're not afraid to say they like each other and most of all no one's STUPID, thank god. DM ins cute and charming in a bastardy way and there's no way I can hate him. I'm waiting for the angst to come too but if its anything like their separation, that would make me really happy. They managed that so well including the over-used cliched amnesia plot which I would have HATED in any other drama.

On a side note, does anyone know where I can find the gorgeous gayageum instrumental?
Can someone please help me get off the floor. I was having an uncontrollable spasm from the dialogue & kiss alone. This drama just keeps getting better and better with each episode. Lol at DM getting the same medicine he dished out in the hospital turned on him.
@supagirl. Here is the instrumental
ahhh this drama just keeps getting better :) can't wait for ep 10 to be subbed.

I want to put it as my ringtone... everybody'll think I'm crazy :p

I"m STILL on the floor after yesterday...
I am here with some extremely good news for us fans. After we voted on FB for QIHM DVD it's been green lit. They are now deciding on what to include in the dvd with the episodes. I think bts, eng subs & commentary are the most voted for.
Such a fantastic drama. I almost didn't watch it because of how much it sounded like Rooftop Prince (which I thought was average, and have on hold), but I'm SO glad I gave it a shot anyway. The pacing of the story is phenomenal for a KDrama, with zero dead-spots, and the dialogue is so clever and snappy that it never lets your attention waver. It doesn't try to drag things out with long lead-ins when scenes change, or bog down in over-done melodrama, either. Another reason I began watching is because of Yoo In Na, who I thought stole the show in Birdie Buddy and was great in Secret Garden. At the time that Birdie Buddy was airing, I remember looking her up, then being shocked that she wasn't yet a star. She is wonderful as a leading lady, in my opinion, and I hope she gets lots more offers. Her expressions and reactions are adorable, especially when she's jealous or pouting. I know I'm saying things that have already been said, but this is seriously one of the best series I've seen in quite awhile. I just watched 10 episodes in 3 days, so I'm definitely hooked.
