I guess I am off to watch Missing You, I haven't liked anything with Yoochun since SS...but it's got Seung Ho in it :)
I have just finished Innocent Man - not sure what to make of it I am still a little bemused .... the ending wasn't what i was expecting at all

Totally not what I was expecting. I thought the huge plot twist was going to be him dying of a stab wound instead of the brain injury, but it continued and went in a direction I was not expecting.
omg what do i do with my life now ;~;
Awesome ending T.T .....the best drama ever....
OMG ~ I'm so happy that I can dance:D I love this drama like SO MUCH ! but I really need an extra episode , I can feel the rush in Ep 19 and part of Ep 20 ~ I'm planning to watch " missing you " because I didn't watch yoochun Rooftop prince ~
I'm gonna miss kang maru so much ! GOD ! I didn't expect song joong ki to be that good ~ it's all about his eyes

We have all railed against Koreans lack of peripheral vision in K-dramas but Eun Gi not noticing what had happened to Ma Ru on the crosswalk was beyond ridiculous!! How could she NOT notice that he had been stabbed even with the blood dripping & his pained expression that was a true WTF moment & then Ma Ru wandering around with her chatting instead of going back into the hospital which was right there!!!

Nothing that happened with any of the characters in the last episode made sense......I cannot imagine Lawyer Ahn actually getting his own hands dirty & stabbing Ma Ru himself, I can imagine him paying someone else to do it.....Jae Hee coming forward & confessing all what a load of tripe she is a self-centred b**** & would never have done that.....the ending with the 7 year time leap & Eun Gi & Ma Ru leading normal lives a in blissful rural utopia uggghh it just smacked of lazy/inconsistent writing & attention to character development. I would have preferred Ma Ru dying to this saccharine ending that would have had more substance and impact.

I am annoyed cos this drama could have been so much more than it ended up being....however let me finish by saying I loved SJK in this drama and shows what range he has as an actor (take his role in Sungkyunkwan Scandal for instance) but I wish the writers had done a better job with the climax of this story. I feel like it should have gone out with a big bang but instead it just fizzled out like a damp squib.

Exactly!!! I've been losing interest in this drama since around episode 15 or so. But I continued watching because I wanted to see how it'd turn out in the end. All throughout the last episode I was expecting something big to happen, and when Maru got stabbed I thought he'd actually die. But then he's sitting around talking to Eun Gi for about 10 minutes holding his side after he gets stabbed....and Eun Gi doesn't notice he's even hurt =___= I'm completely with you on that one. And then he passes out in the middle of the road and they decide to throw in a 7 year time gap immediately after that....

The ending felt thrown together to me. I get that it's supposed to show that Maru got what he had wished for, a second life, new start, a chance to start over with Eun Gi. A light at the end of the tunnel so to speak. But the way it was executed was done poorly to me (and I know people will disagree with me). This drama didn't make me feel any emotion. I know others cried and stuff over this drama, but I sat there for the last 5 episodes wondering how I can get through the episodes any faster. Song Joong Ki and Moon Chae Won are both excellent actors, and they definitely played their parts well. But like you I felt it could have been so much more and the writers didn't do a very good job with the climax of the story.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was disappointed with it though, haha, since many people enjoyed the happy ending. I feel I would've liked it more if it had been done differently. I will miss the intro/instrumental, I think that was my favorite part of the drama.
@RainFlower & Crazy4You You're not alone. I was also fairly disappointed in haphazard manner of the last 10-15 minutes. The last 4 episodes also seemed quite draggy, compared with the storytelling of the rest of the show before. As for the crosswalk scene: After thinking anxiously that Lawyer Ahn was going to do something ridiculous and out-of-character, such as dirtying his own hands, I was certain that the slow-motion crossing of the street would end disastrously.. such as, an Ahn-driven truck of doom? I didn't expect him to try stabbing! But the post-walk around smooching scene had me fairly convinced that Ahn had maybe been foiled in his attempt? As in, Maru seeing him was enough for him to chicken out and not draw an actual knife? I couldn't believe they did all that After Maru was apparently stabbed in the side! Seriously! And.. then to have all that ultimately come to nought? Too weird. Oh well, I live in a world when NG was a fabulous watch each week, and I will try and ignore the actual written ending.. It's just fiction right? I can rewrite it however I want in my own little world.. :p
i see all your point and the part where EG did not notice that maru was hurt didnt make since at all ... tho i was convince that she was focused on maru face to notice he was hurt anywhere else. i personally like happy ending so i'm glad the ending was a happy one tho i do wish to see a tab bit more to the ending as it does seem to be rushed
I gave it a 6 because SKJ is hot..I thought the show was a mess
all of u r right ! EG was weird when she didn't notice his pain and the blood all over his hand :/ if I were her I will go with him to the hospital even if no one stabbed him he still sick :/
