Haha, my favorite part of your post. And I agree, they had an almost kiss. And I don't think it was completely sudden. I mean besides the fact that he lent her the house, he actually showed up, meaning there are some hidden feelings that have been growing. His character is just built in a way where he doesn't show his feelings all that well. And like BaT said, they did have an almost kiss.
Btw, this is soooo my favorite drama atm. My Greatest Love is also amazing, but this drama tops it just by a little....

I'm totally fan crazy right now waiting for the next episodes.
I just wanted to share these. <3

can't wait to see the next episodes. What a cliffhanger.. That kiss was HOT
Sigh. I love this drama...and that kiss really made my night last night. I squee'd, and I'm not one who squees that often. I'm happy this kiss occurred in the middle of the drama versus waiting until the very end and even then only receiving a chaste kiss...even though it most likely means that something is going to go wrong soon.

Yes, I remember that almost kiss but even that was a bit sudden for me (although I guess YEH's lips are very attractive and kissable and he's a man who's apparently just been trying to forget one woman for three years... :P). Okay, I'm just going to buy it this time - and after all it would have taken just a few more episodes to reach the normal stage when they usually start to express their feelings like that. The sooner the better right? :P And I certainly liked that kiss, too. :D

Oh btw, I certainly wouldn't have wanted to attend that housewarming party - so akward conversation and tense athmosphere all the time - I would have been running to the toilet way more often than Ah Jung did!
*jumps into the thread*

I don't really like Yoon Eun Hye (in fact, I can't stand her), but I decided to watch this because of Kang Ji Hwan, my favorite korean actor.

And. Oh. My. God.

I love both of them in this one.

T___T

It's so good.

THANK YOU! I've been searching for these since I watched the HOT 6th episode!!
I totally like this drama!!!!
Oh! Sorry, I though one of the videos was the song they snag together by karaoke, anybody can help?
Sorry. I know a video of them singing together, the scene, but there's another song over it.

Here:

I can't find a video with the original voice.
Wow! Thanks! I liked this song too! Will it be on the OST? It's cute!
Can't wait for the next episode!!!!
I'm sure this has already been mentioned but I'm mentioning it again...BEST KISS IN A DRAMA I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! BAR NONE. I was having moments of confusion and boredom watching this until these last two episodes, now I'm sold. On a Kiss! Yeah, I'm just that easy.

Can't wait for next week.
Funny how THAT KISS fueled the topic here! There has been crazy sexual tension between the two leads so it was indeed an intense scene, especially since we had the same view as the guests (vs spinning cliché view). I kind of felt ashamed starring at those two locking lips ah ah! Too bad the preview shows Ah Jung thought of it as an act and did not appreciate it... but that means more build up for the upcoming episodes! If they go that far already, I hope - and don't take me for an old pervert - they'll make out before the end. I mean, why Asian dramas are so prudish anyway? I don't mean to show it all the way American style but sex is part of a relationship and can be beautifully screen-romanced too, don't you think? =)

I also wonder what will be Sang Hee's next move. I hope the guy will have a happy closure because being casted as second choice TWICE will not be considerate for his character. He's happy-go-lucky, carefree and playful on the outside to hide a true sadness (the scene where he begged his brother not to marry Yoon Joo was heartbreaking), making him a great contrast to his brother.

Despite being a k-drama male cliché as in wealthy, well-educated, OCD (ah ah) and uptight on the surface but knows how to break all hell lose for the girl he loves, I like Ki Joon's role because they're easy characters to develop and often turn into playful guys by the end.

Also, I marathoned Coffee Prince between episode 4 and 5 of LTM because everyone told me to check it out. I can assert Yoon Eun Hye is a good actress. She can totally channel different characters while always staying fresh, funny and quirky.

That's it for my 2 cents so far!

I can't speak for the other countries, and really I can barely speak for Korea, but it's my understanding that the major broadcasting companies that air these dramas (MBC, SBS, KBS) are government-funded stations, and as such they are under strict guidelines according to the government of what can and cannot be shown on television. This tends to be more of a controversy when it comes to Korean pop music with many songs that are banned from being performed on the music shows due to "inappropriate" lyrics. The big example that comes to mind is GD & TOP's song "Knock Out", which was banned because the Korean for "knock out", 뻑이가요, is a slang term, and the government judged that allowing such a song to be performed on television would be detrimental to the development of Korean youth. The heavy government censorship that goes on in the Korean entertainment industry is part of the reason why I'm a bit weary of using dramas as the foundation of my Korean cultural understanding (I'm thinking back to another thread about Korean drama's connection to Korean culture), since a lot of these dramas have to be sanitized to pass strict government regulations. You'll find that the dramas that air on the cable network TVN are bit more risque. But just a bit. I'm sure there's a vanguard of the older generation who prefer the government's hand in restraining the sexuality exhibited in dramas, but I bet there's a rising opinion among the younger generation that wants to push the envelope a bit more. (At least that's true among the Korean students I've spoken to at my university.)

I smiled a bit when you mentioned the "American style", since there's another example of a disconnect between media representation of sex and the general public's feelings towards it. Right now, if I had to describe America's general feelings towards sex, I would have to say that it's a pretty anti-sex climate. Hollywood is written off by many Americans as being controlled libidinous left-wingers who are out to raze the moral landscape of our country. (Other Americans, feel free to weigh in. I admit that I'm extremely liberal when it comes to the expression of sexuality, and I often find that people from one side will claim that the other outnumbers them, so I might need some balance in my perspective... But, seriously, I think female sexuality is under attack in the US... Argument for another day...)

I have to admit that the reason why the kiss sparked my interest is because the rest of the episode bored me to tears so that the kiss was like someone throwing a bucket of ice water on me: woke me up right quick.
