Like when she tells GJ they had never really broken up and wants to throw herself all over him? lol

I was also annoyed at how she just asked Sang Hee that question. I understand it's all about survival, but he's her "friend". Couldn't she have been a little more tactful.

She does...lol

Sang Hee needs to go back to wherever he was too...lol

Whoawhoawhoa, Silk Chocolate Voiced Younger Brother can stay. If you guys take issue with this, I can keep him locked away in my bedroom.

Jajajaja, it's just until YJ leaves. He can come back then...lol I actually love him, but he's irritating me acting like the spoiled brat he was raised to be...lol

He's got a very nice voice, but when paired with his super skinny body it confuses me. Lol. :p
VIsualChaos31 wrote: I might be in the minority here when I say that I don't think Gi Joon is still in love with Yoon Joo. I think he still cares for her the way one does wistfully for a past love, but nothing really beyond that. He didn't take her up on her invitation to dinner; instead he attended Ah Jung's party. She accused him at one point of ignoring her calls, while he always attends to Ah Jung's calls or texts despite his struggle not to do so. And he basically all out confessed to Ah Jung during the Cola kiss, saying that the kiss was for real and not an act. The beach scene that followed the aftermath of the aunt's trap, Gi Joon did lift his arms as if to embrace Yoon Joo, but he never actually hugged her. (I take full credit for that, since he obviously heard me yelling at my laptop screen that I would break his kneecaps if he dared to follow through with that.) And then with the mini-confrontation at Yoon Joo's place, he wanted to talk to Ah Jung alone, but Yoon Joo made it into a group chat over tea, and when Ah Jung left, he followed her out only again to be unable to speak to her because she was busy putting on a brave front and not letting him talk. Basically, we're in the dark when it comes to what Gi Joon is actually doing here.

He might have been really affected by his aunt's plan to intentionally hurt Yoon Joo, and he ran after her to comfort her because of the residual affection that he had for her. Beyond that, we don't really know under what terms they reunited, especially since it was Yoon Joo who announced to Ah Jung that they were back together while he looked like he desperately wished Yoon Joo would shut up (as we all do), so I'm holding off on entirely hating Gi Joon---I still hate him just a bit though. I think he's confused about how to resolve his past with Yoon Joo without hurting her further, and that's led us to where we are now. However, I don't think that's confused about which woman to choose. Yoon Joo could fulfill her part in bringing about a resolution by hopping on the next flight back to Paris. Or the next bus to Daegu. She needs to get gone, so's I can have more kisses.

Well said! I totally agree with you and your post, BaT. You managed to express very nicely all the emotions that I, too, saw in the episode 8.

No, Gi Joon doesnâ??t love Yoon Joo anymore, three years is a long time after all. He was just put in a very difficult situation suddenly: He has just discovered his feelings for Ah Jung but those feelings haven't had time to develop into a strong love yet - and then his aunt interfered. I guess he is now feeling quite troubled and messed up. He still cares for Yoon Joo, as you said there are all the echos of their past love. And then I think he also feels guilty because it was after all he who chose his brother over her. He doesnâ??t want to hurt and disappoint her again. All these mixed up feelings of guilt and past love made him go with her lead.

Now, Gi Joon obviously also feels guilty because he caused Ah Jung pain and mislead her. His love for Ah Jung just isnâ??t strong enough yet to clearly overcome his feelings for Yoon Joo. So I do feel sorry for Gi Joon and I understand him - heâ??s having hard time. Still, since the main character is Ah Jung who I already love and the drama hasnâ??t given me any possibility to develop that sympathetic feelings for Yoon Joo (that's her part in the play), I still want to scold Gi Joon a bit. :)

And BaT, thanks a lot for the song! :) I searched for it a few days ago but just couldn't find it. Thank you for your trouble!

Thank you! LOL, the beginning frightened me a little :D

Again, I must say, one of the best kisses I have EVER seen, I have watched the all Coca-Cola fighting, already a....LOT :D
Though the ending pissed me off...How could he? I mean, I think he doesn't love the other girl anymore (if not say that he has never loved her strong enough...though this may be my perspective)...He didn't go to her house, I'm sure did't hug her back on the beach...Nappun nom! Made Ah-Joung cry...
Can Kang Ji Hwan just come live at my house and I'll take good care of him and.....stuff?! I'm way to late to add any thoughts. All of them have been covered by the amazing smart ladies above. Why am I so addicted to this drama? Is it really the awesome kisses?

yes...yes it is. White Hot Chemistry between the leads. Please writers...do justice to this hot little drama (and mostly the talented leads) for the last half of its run! Now that the lie is exposed and Ki Joon is sort of caught in a little trap of Yoon Joo's emotions, I'm excited for where they could take this!

**I think Ki Joon didn't say anything while they were in Yoon Joo's apartment because he (and his brother) had already put her through the ringer emotionally and he feels stuck and sorry for her. Couple that with the fact that, to Ki Joon, Ah Jung is a whirlwind. I think he is really falling for her but is also confused. I don't blame him but this is driving me nuts! I want Monday to get here...and I hate Mondays!
I think i became crazy waiting for other episodes of lie to me.
First, i promised myself to not watch it until it's fully completed but i can't help it because i love the main two leads and now i'm suffering. HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is it just me or his voice sounds very similar to BIGBANG's TOP? o_O

I thought the romance picked up quite fast compared to other dramas which is probably why they're getting hindered by supporting characters or this would be 10 episodes not 16. I expect the troubles with YJ to last a few more episodes to add angst and drama, until the aunt comes in as the "final boss" ah ah!

Random: The cola kiss shall become a k-drama legendary reference from now on.

Random 2: I am expecting something new between Ah Jung and So Ran based on the end of ep. 8, actually hoping for a real friendship between the two!

I loved that kiss, well those kisses.

I hope for that too. I hope it wasn't just shock over hearing how "easily" Ah Jung fooled her.

Here's when you know it's bad. Finding a blog that does a live recap. Being at work and getting on this website...hitting refresh while working and waiting to read the recap.

I AM NOW OFFICIALLY SICK ...and a lot sad.
i dont read them ... because then i will know what will be the next ep aboutt... >_< ... am curious why u r sick and sad ?? :O

I never read them either. I did this mistake only once and won't repeat it. Recaps blogs are usually more to voice opinion than give a translation of what has been said and I find that most users there tend to think the same way as the recapper, in a sort of group mind-frame. I know of a lot of people that don't even watch the drama first: they read recaps and "live" the drama filtered through the opinion of whoever wrote them.

I do watch raw episodes though, which is just as bad a symptom of addiction as any. I think this is what Jeanie meant, Biya. Let's face it, it is a little sick, but it's just as fun and consoling to be all sick together. :D
