Synopsis:

City Hall is a drama that deals with politics in a romantic comedy genre. It's about the happenings between a young woman mayor and an elite bureaucrat. Jo Gook is an exceedingly smart government official. He passed the Higher Civil Service quickly, and basically is the perfect guy. But being a deputy mayor is not enough for him. He lives with the dream of becoming South Korea's President. He should have easily gone straight to the top, but due to an unexpected incident, he gets dispatched as a deputy mayor for a provincial small town, Inju City, where Shin Mi Rae is working. Shin Mi Rae is a low-ranking secretary in Inju, but she works her way up in becoming the youngest City Mayor. As their paths meet, they have to deal with each other's personal and social differences. But despite their constant bickerings, will they end up in each other's arms?

Who has watched this drama? Do you plan to?

This drama is one of my favorites. There are silly moments, touching moments, angsty moments and delicious lovely moments. This love story is so tender, touching and richly written. It's a great story, very well told. I am not a political girl. I don't necessarily find politics that fascinating or interesting but I loved this story because it is balanced and more of a character study than a political one. If you haven't watched, I recommend this drama highly!

Ok I am at Ep. 6 of this drama and I haven't yet seen any of the chemistry that is described in its reviews. I am finding it quite silly and unrealistic on the whole and Cha Seung Won is not attracting me in any way at all as it actually seems he only has one same facial expression throughout the story. I will be patient and carry on watching it because I have faith in all the reviewers and their opinions and hope the sparkle with this drama will start soon! I will let you know how I feel as the story develops but I am quite discouraged at the moment especially coming from Gong Yoo's superb acting skills!

lol is it that bad? i have d/l-ed this drama just recently and i plan to start it soon...but now i'm scared lol..plus i'm not really a fan of Cha Seung Won..and i hate Kim Sun Ah lol..

From the 1st episode till the last one, really made me laugh...And cry.No dull moment..
Both KSA and CHS was amazing...

Same as Jeanie...The way we show how much we love this drama was the fact that it's always in the main list everytime we recommend a good drama to watch:)

i will definitely watch this drama...i usually don't get affected by the actors tbh...if i hear good things and see good ratings i watch them even if i hate the entire cast lol....i hate LDH from the bottom of my heart but i still watched 3 of her dramas lol..

my dislike/ hatred for certain actors don't discourage me from watching their dramas..i'm more liberal like that...who knows?! i might just end up loving them by the end of it..so far KSA hasn't been successful lol..LDH sort of toned down in Chuno but that could be because there was an even more annoying girl in that drama...uugggh i hated that woman lol...there's another female who i can't stand and Jin has only confirmed it more...Miss PMY lol

It's a good thing that your open minded in trying drama even though you don't like the actors...By that you also giving them a chance to redeem themselves...

I don't have any disliked actors...just hated characters:)
And I understand your point about KSA..I also noticed that she played same character in her dramas, unlike other actresses who take different role/character every time..like from being too naive to rude, bad-*** .. it just that she acts well that why I can't hate her..
