Synopsis:

A young woman named Ji Hyun was enjoying absolute bliss as she was about to be married with her fiancé, but her perfect life is shattered in a car accident that left her in a coma. She is given a second chance at life by a reaper, but it comes with a condition: she has to find three people outside of her family who would cry genuine tears for her. In order to do this, she borrows the body of Yi Kyung, a part-time employee at a convenience store.
I'm totally loving this drama. i'm on episode 15 so far.
i also like the cover... very much,,,, ithink this cover is my favorite of all kdrama cover
The way this drama has moved forward has been pretty gratifying. A lot of dramas fall short in the plot advancement and pacing department but this one has been great. I have all the hope and confidence in the world for our main twosome. Still shaking a little over what might happen to Yi Kyung and Yi Soo and I really really need a firm resolution and some serious cummuppance for In Jung and Min Ho!

I'm sad it is ending. This one was a gem. I'll definitely watch it again in the future.

Well i've been using DarkSmurf subs. They aren't the best, but they aren't that bad.
Np....*thinks what to call you*...Ahjumma!
haha.... i'll call you oppanim : ))
Totally agree about the pacing of the story. It's one of my pet peeves when a drama stretches a single plot point through several episodes (My Princess and that damn press conference), but 49 Days does a great job of presenting a complication and solving it within an episode or adding some new development so that the plot actually MOVES.

Speaking of moving, what I find most moving about this drama is the relationship between Yi Kyung and Ji Hyun. For me, the romances come second to the friendship that developed between these two women. The fact through their bond they help to bring each other back to life both figuratively and literally is just... TEARS.

And Jung Il Woo... He's earned himself a new fan.
Im on episode 18. And im loving it atm.
I'm sorry to say this but 49Days pretty similar to Japanese Drama 10-12 years ago, i forgot the title, but i still can remember the whole story. The different was the main cast was a male & the Grim Reaper is a female. [49Days wins coz the quality of the picture much better].
|The same case with Kekkon Dekinai Otoko (J-Drama June 2006) ---> The Man Who Can't Get Married (K-Drama 2009) [TMWCGM is better coz much more funny).
i am not liking 49 days atm :P
I hate the way it ended...
Though I liked all the drama, the way it ended gave me depression...It's like telling, that everything was for nothing...Weell, not nothing, of course, some things changed after, but the main point was for Ji Hyun to live with Han Kang happily ever after... Maybe I'm the one who imagined it ending like a fairy tale...The last scene made me cry so much, I couldn't read the subs, had to watch it twice...
*not yet reading above comments*
