Episode 17 is chock full of little moments that I enjoy but still left feeling less than satisfied. Ji Young is getting a bit careless with her affection toward Hyung Joon while he is doing all he can to protect her. It's good seeing him bounce right back and try to creatively ride on the success of the BB cream even when it's no longer his. They seem to be out of the worst of times but I can also sense something is brewing what with President Ma likens his handover of JY to selling his soul. I am looking forward to a big storm ahead before a satisfying ending. Just hope this drama does not disappoint.

I also am sensing a storm. This episode was filled with great little couple moments that seem too good bc we're still not at the end. So far, I love this drama. I thought I was going to get bored, but this is a great drama with a steady plot and with a variety of characters. What I'm most impressed with is with the female representation-- they're doing it right. I like the women in charge. I love that the three main women have their own goals and are not out to get one another; they're simply bonded by the pageant.
So these last two episodes have been good...too good for my drama sense not to sense something big to happen in the finale. I've really enjoyed watching this drama and as stated in my last entry, I love that the 3 main females are bonded by the pageant and are not out to get one another. I love that fact; I love that there is no other actress after the main actor, they could have done that with Go Hwa Jungs character but she has her own love interest(s). Stuff I've disliked is the missed opportunity of female bonding with Ji Young and Jae Hee. I wish due to the pageant, they could have began talking to one another. It seems that both need friends. Maybe in the finale? Also to Kim Jae Hee's character, I dislike and like what happened to her relationship with her dad. I'm all for forgiving but I wanted him to work for her forgiveness. It was too sudden and perhaps unrealistic, but I'm glad they resolved her problem. The one-sided lover, Lee Yoon, honestly I dont know how I feel about him. I guess in the finale, I'll have my opinion. He's obviously regretting being a douche, but Idk, something else about him... Anyways, I love the OST and I hate to wait all the way until next week to just one episode. At least it's ending before I leave the country.

i feel the same way about the friendship bonding, it would have been nice to see abit more of that. And i feel the same way about lee yoon. But in terms of Jae Hee's and her father, i think it went well. Since Jae Hee wasnt really upset with her father, she just wanted to be recognized which was what she got.
I love how much the OTP watches out for each other. These last two episodes are low-key but well done and focus on rebuilding Hyung Joon's dreams now that Ji Young's dream is already fulfilled. HJ's caution is exactly what JY needs to balance out her recklessness or they'd have been caught long ago. I don't mind a little more tension in the finale, but with only one episode left, how is that going to happen? How is MBC going to fill the time slot on Thursday? Olympic coverage?
MBC is only airing an episode on Wednesday, and the Olympics are over, so they'll probably just show something else on Thursday.

I actually like that the last few episodes have had minor tensions (mostly those between ViVi and Bada) and more character development. For example, I did love the touch of Manager Ma's anger at Ji Young in episode 19. Some people complained in the the Viki comments that she was being too harsh on her, but I felt Manager Ma was telling the truth. She knows how much Ji Young feels for Hyung Joon; Manager Ma looks out for Hyung Joon as well, in my opinion, but what she said to Ji Young is correct. Those fans stood in line to see her and get her signature. Her lackadaisical attitude toward them was unprofessional. I loved how Ji Young gave advice on makeup and hair as well. Maybe she's found her calling and can work for Manager Ma or ViVi.

you should prob disable the comments, i find them very distracting. The only time i have it on is when i'm watching something really boring and need some additional comments to entertain me
on other note i agree Manager Ma never came across as harsh, she is only strict with the profession and say what she see in point blank.

I only had the comments on because I re-watched that episode. The subs hadn't finished when I watched the first time. :) I usually disable the comments.
I love how tables turned at Vivi's cosmetics. Very hard at first but through hardwork and teamwork, good things eventually come at the end. Happy ending for all at the end is the only thing to wish on this drama. Kudos to all of them, this had been a very good drama to me. :D

I agree. I can't wait for tonight! I wish them all a happy ending. This drama is probably getting a high score from me. I think it's one of the better written (and acted) dramas in a while. Hopefully more people will pick this up and watch it soon!
just finished this drama and it will be missed, a really good slice of life drama that really warms my heart
